    It seems to me NZTR have been interfering for too long, trying to force track managers to attain a mythical Dead 4 track when a safe one is what is actually required.

    Just watching Trackside and on comes Aiden Rodley going on about the Kiwi connection. Hes in Australia. The horse is Nature Strip in the Everest. Trained by a Kiwi (OK) and part owned by a Kiwi (OK) but why are we sending him there? Am I missing something? Can I ask why is a good idea to send him there?

    $40,000 a day for the RIB - is that for real. Where is it all going? What salarys are they on? How much has INCA cost them?

    Funny how they managed to run a meeting @ Woodville the following day with no safety issues and thats not that far up the line. They were never going to run Hastings in the wet. More group races lost from the central districts. Hate to be racing a horse there at the moment. Excuse my ignorance but why couldnt they put an extra meeting on or held over to the Monday. Sounds like a lot of spin going on here.

    I have it on very good authority (a collegue at works mate whose brother-in-laws aunty's best friends son works for someone whose sister is besties with someone in the office at NZTR) that all further meetings in the central district will be canned due to rain. All the stakes monies saved are going to General Pie and Sausage Roll Fund.

    I get asked about inca too as " the horsey person" at work, but Im in the dark here. Does anyone have any updates on this? Also as a matter of interest, how much in dollar terms has this cost? The cost to the industry in bad press has been immense. BTW being the horsey person isnt a complement.

    As a matter of interest what is happening with Operation Inca? Were there any actual convictions into race fixing? This was all over the TV when it first happened but strangely nothing further.

    Would be interested to know who qualifies as "the expert opinion of those who are knowledgeble about such matters".

    15 days in between racedays is a ludicrus situation. We have had wet winters before. Why couldnt they have given a temporary license to Foxton under extenuating circumstances. Feel sorry for owners and trainers, jockeys in central districts. All the suits are on salaries so do they really care?
