  1. No but have read the article from the manager there.Have you
  2. He has a job ffs.Cant believe the shit on this site.Laughable no wonder only 6 people on it
  3. Not really homeless, was living in a garage as he was planning travel overseas so let his rental agreement lapse but then circumstances changed and had nowhere to live.
  4. Think Purdons have won 6 of last 18 starts I read somewhere Pretty good actually
  5. And I have heard Brodie was because due to him having trouble getting bets on he now has plenty of time
  6. Especially seen as I hope to get my jockeys licence back next season
  7. Yes I was but due to my bookmaking commitments for Entain and my job as trackwork rider for the Waller stable I decided it could have been a conflict of interest and also my busy schedule wouldnt allow it
  8. Yes Greg does a great job, very personable.

  10. 😂😂 I dont actually think we have much depth at all in politics at the moment. For the first time ever I may not even vote this year.Im a believer that people shouldn't vote just for the sake of it.TOP party was growing on me for a while but they have gone off on a weird tangent last couple of years
  11. Oops sorry Chief, was supposed to quote Brodie
  12. Trouble is Brodie that there are no real strong opposition at the moment.People will vote National or ACT because they oppose Labour, not because they think the politicians in these parties are any better.National doesnt really have many policies outlined and dont have a John Key type financial whiz in there party. So many party leaders in last 5 years has also created an unstable working situation for them. Believe me there are still a lot of National MPs that dont back there leader.NZ politics is the worst it's ever been

    John Dunn

John Dunn giving out a positive driving lesson today.Making some decent drivers look poor
  14. Yep I really like this horse too Backed it at last start in Guineas and I thought it had next up written all over it.Big class drop imo.
  15. Just seen why there shouldnt be gambling on Amateur driver races.Hot favourite Classic Linc driven by Joanne Buckland Steven's was full of running and looked winner a long way out but decided at 300m to move to the inside where there was a plethora of horses and she had a chance to move to the outside and finish over top of them.
  16. Was punting a while before he came along but had some great collects from him.Was the fastest trotter I ever sat behind, but was the craziest on an off day.Luckily we had good drivers on race day but I dont think we ever seen his true ability.
  17. Woodlands said it was a great success. It costs very little to get a weanling to that stage and they were rapt with the average. The costs for them have been minimal and the profits good.
  18. I pretty much started out the same and also in the 70s.Dad with the transistor radio on no matter where we went.Racing and sport.Told me I could have a few bets when I was about 10yo.A horse that really took my fancy was Trevira and took a double with it and a few others.Collected $130 which was huge and been hooked ever since.Tend to bet more on Aussie gallops now but have had some great collects over the years on harness.Used love trebles but they don't pay anything now with % betting as pools in Nz not big enough .Used to love the big jackpots they used to have for pick6 too but dont happen now.
  19. Probably in top 30 yeah.
  20. Spankem was sublime that day Went last mile and half in about 2.51.Once Copy That was a stride slower from barrier and with the sectionals they ran he was up against it.Was hardly team driving when you finish first and second.More like driving to give them both the best possible chance. I agree Walt that MM was out driven that day.Cant wait for tonight. Will be interesting to see if Old Town Road is actually up to this.Should get a good run. Will Self Assured step quick enough from 1 to not end up way back on fence. Can Akuta slot in from out wide.Same as Copy That, does he go forward or back Hard to believe Lebowski paying same as Old town Road and Kango
  21. Should get 2 months for that, shocking behaviour
  22. The blinds were taken off at the start . It has been reported that a vet inspection has shown a respiratory infection.
  23. Do you not consider Copy That and Akuta racing as exciting
  24. A lot of horses in Canterbury and u less you want to spend a lot of money on circuit racing there has been basically a 2 week gap between meetings. The size of fields at Ashburton proves trainers have been waiting for a meeting In Canterbury.
  25. Sam has great drives and Sarah and Crystal not so great drives tonight at Ballarat too. Sam on Outlaw Man who he also drew and won with last night. Will win again.Unusual to have a horse start in drivers champs 2 nights in a row and Sam will be thrilled to draw him again, especially from Barrier 1
