  1. I remember a horse called Cinamoid Junior that I think gave a couple of positives.Cant remember the exact details
  2. Simon Thornley wrote a couple of articles last year that he stated as fact but then retracted and said most of it was opinion and although he didnt know it at the time 2 of his contacts that he received information from were anti covid campaigners and their information sources were unverified. In other words he was giving 3rd hand information.
  3. Brodie stopped punting and he was good at that, just not clever enough to have somebody else set up an account and use that or get an overseas account
  4. Waller proved the feed was contaminated, not a legitimate excuse unless you can.prove it
  5. I heard its still under discussion and Woodham may have jumped gun,no reason to change as registered as All Stars colours and new trainer still training under All Stars banner.Apparently Hayden will decide over next couple of days if he will register the new colours
  6. No but he did have some dodgey staff at time.
  7. Ants ex father in law was good trainer too.
  8. Great to see Edgey win the Amateir drivers race at long odds.I suppose Whiplash will say he cheated
  9. I think I read where Hawkes Bay beat them but I'm not sure where. We had big plans for Mid Canterbury this year but rain delays meant we had to do some silly declarations that never came off to try to get the wins .Unfortunately weather generally plays a big part in this comp
  10. A few I like for Waikouaiti cup day R4 #2 Art Cracker 3/1.40 Great draw and a positive driver should be able to lead up and be very hard to beat. R5 #7 Major Dolmio 2.50/1.30 Money is on this very well bred Art Major 3yo,hasnt been seen.out lately but trials looked promising last year R7 #4 Zaccy Mach 5.50/2.10 Good horse from top stable with a good draw, should get a soft trip and be too good R11 Girls get Loose 9.50/3.10 If she puts her best foot forward can win this but always holding your breath with her. R12 Ultimate Sassenach 4.60/1.90 is drawn to lead all the way.Has had a nice buildup and expected to go.close Good luck and happy punting
  11. Of course they ran home that fast when 2 middle halves in 64
  12. Cant beat them
  13. What assumptions? All I stated is fact,Motor Mouthwas punted early on.Johnny opened favourite but took no money, went out in betting then punted and moved in again. Then both horses late scratched by stewards. All fact no assumptions. Then i made a statement that i hope nothing in towards going on.No assumptions
  14. I think he lost a dollar on one of John Lischners horses 25 years ago
  15. Yeah seen Fitzgeralds advert.
  16. Settle down Kenny
  17. They were trotting halfs in 64.I could have run that speed and won Yeah they cheated that why it paid $117.Believe me if Edgey was on the punt the first4 would have gone and it would have paid 20s
  18. I see the very heavily backed Jesse Alford stablemates in race 5 have been late scratched by stewards. Motor Mouth who struggled racing down South was backed in from 9s to 2.80 within an hour of fixed odds opening while Johnny Nevitts opened favourite and was also well supported.Hopefully nothing untoward going on
  19. What has changed in the All Stars is the minor details being missed.Everything has to be perfect for horses to win Group races and I know that Mark P was the hardest working person in Harness racing, used to work 16 hour days basically 7 days a week.A lot of that was pre planning. He has what fast work times he wants sorted a week in advance.Leading up to Yearli g sales he hardly slept for a month . Apart from Mark running the show nothing much has changed as still basically same staff, vets and access to outside influencers
  20. Not a good comparison as UK were far too late in implementing any lockdown
  21. The Christchurch yearling sales have been postponed for a week. Now 22nd to 24th February
  22. I think Ricky Donnelly is starter there now.He is a real horseman,a former jockey who has been around horses for 40 years.Worked in a lot of big thoroughbred stables and even in Japan I believe.Has had a lot to do with Standardbreds last 20 years.Has horse sense
  23. I agree,e is becoming a very good driver.I was probably his biggest critic when he started but from what I have heard he has been working with Ricky May to improve his decision making
