Had a good win with ARAPAHO last week and was thinking nearly gunna win again. Alas an apprentice jockey mowed them down with Explosive Jack late on , F4 divvie just up now $204,000 ...

As i suspected the Addington Harness completely dumped off our screens here in Oz. so no betting on it. No wonder the Sport is in crisis. A metro meeting discarded like waste-paper. 😪 Trotsfan, Chief , The Galah , Blackie and Gammalite with 2 picks per race. as per original entry. To get some more runners involved , lets see if some drivers can get the Win today for some BOAY fans. BRODIE can have the Carter Dalgety and Wilson House drives (as he supports the youngsters keenly)>>> R1/ 13 R2/ 6 R3/ 3+4 R4/ 6 R5/ 2 R6/ 2 R7/ 4 R8/ 1 R9/ 9 R10/ 12 R11/ 11 RANGATIRA can have old mate John Dunn drives >>> R1/ 11 R2/ 1 R3/ 14 R4/ 10 R5/ 5 R6/ 5 R7/ 9 R8/ 8 R9/ 8 R10/ 1 R11/ 12 FORBURY can have the Blair Orange drives>>> (will they pay enough Forb's?) ENTER HERE : 2 Addington picks per race .before 1.30 NZ TIME , i think it is. Sydney Cup day and i've caught up to those buggers now , instead of being an hour behind ,(and only 2 hours behind the kiwis) with daylight saving ending last weekend . about 4 hours to the first at Addington , so get the form done (looking at you Chief, so have a crack Chief, brodster, ranga ,davis , trotsfan , or other trots-fans, at 2 picks per race. otherwise you are gunna end up with one horse per race and The Galah, Blackie and Gamma will be mopping the floor with double the runners (and likely)winners 😎. The Easter BOAY cup winner today 🏆will have the highest total from $10EW 💰 invested on their picks . instead of the usual finishing position points table . good luck and happy Easter !!

Tokyo Tycoon returns positive Grp 1 Sistema Stakes
Gammalite replied to Chief Stipe's topic in Galloping Chat
No mate I didn't say that. never mentioned security cameras, senior staff members, individual horses . you did. I just gave a general view of from what I have seen in stables over 2 decades. I say never saw errors with identity of horses for feeding or especially Treatments. and we had cheap horses lol...😄😆😉 nor have I mentioned any 'Good Idea' about drugging anything. >>> you did . so Is that what YOU think happened? -

Gammalite replied to Chief Stipe's topic in Galloping Chat
yeah , you see all these excuses. always a 'mistake' lol. human error . yeah surely not. but after years of working in stables it's almost impossible unless you're drunk or asleep to give the horses the wrong feed bucket, let alone >> administer a swabable medication to the wrong horse. You ususally have staff that are familiar with All the Horses surely? if you're feeding them , shoeing them, administering treatment or even brushing them lol.... you know what horse you are dealing with ......what are they putting the horse in the wrong stall/box or something ? -
haha 😄 my dad had a picture of piggy Muldoon on the wall 😆 , so seen too much of that man a lot of years lol. Must of been PM for quite some time?. Still love Nz harness racing after leaving on the steel bird with Lightning Blue. His colours won at Cambridge last night too (on Oceanic Art) , bringing back memories of Blues first career start for Mike Berger all those years ago. Had one of the best drivers going too. Owen Purdon. What a class act family they have always been.

Well 'Luck's a Fortune' as they say. Probably Lucky to avoid the crash (and Not have the race abandoned as they would do instantly these days, even if one or 2 horses were down on the track) But a Derby Winner is a Derby winner. very hard to do. and fantastic accomplishment. Even Krug lol......

That was just like watching a horror movie with jump scares and Hold Your Breath moments. Did you see the poor late great Charlie Hunter at the bottom of the pile-up? , then crawling out on hands and knees while everyone was wrestling with the tangled horses? 9 of the 14 runners being brought down or losing the driver. Charlie eventually walked to ambulance so that was good sign he could get up . Incredibly None of the 9 Derby colts were seriously injured , even though it took 10 minutes to untangle ROYDON GLEN. Fun fact: Roydon Glen came back as a 4 yearold later in year, after this Derby crash and Won all 12 Starts as a 4 yearold !! and so was NZ harness horse of the Year. (so no lingering damage from this horrendous Derby incident thankfully)

Maybe this is THE Case for the High Court. Givealittle page?
Gammalite replied to Chief Stipe's topic in Trotting Chat
What a great race that was tonight. The Grin Race will be hard to top that. next week 😄 Nat had great cart-up behind Copy That with the 'other' Cup winner Self Assured , but won easy in the end. But drove the horse exceptionally well early if you noticed to get ahead of BD Joe and Smiffy's Terror. A Total Class act. The Preferential draw once again Proving it's value for excitement . the lead 2 were bunnies for their stablemates , but that is what can happen with multiple stable runners. Barry Purdon doing it well lately as Allstars, Dunn's and Telfers have done in the past on a lot of occasions. NZ stables are the Masters at it . excellent driving often. -
could never bet on that guy . He's always way to conscious of what the stable-mates are doing. Even last week when Barry's stable ran the Trifecta in the Cardigan Bay stakes 2 yearold Group2 feature, Phelan was on the other unplaced runner.(as usual) Has really destroyed a lot of their chances over the years. Nearly another quinella in race 10 as well with Miki Montana and Artisan . Miki and Merlin both owned in Queensland too , so good to see Barry looking after the Bright side. 😉🍾

Well the Aussie- SHE is down to drive one, so SHE must still be in town ok . allbeit very quiet these days. 'Don't Stop Dreaming' looks a certainty with the Oz-z taking the helm. 🏆 so will put that in picks along with 'Bella Button' with the She-girl 'Gemma' onboard.
