What happened to the 'Teddy Baker' trainer bloke? . Junior driver 'Dewes' or something similar. Teddy baker suddenly winning them in a row Southland (then Addington too 🤣💰) when couldn't break 2.00min for Hunter previously. have they found something yet? Horse off the scene for a while now.

Fair enough . I think Jack doing very well for a 21 year old though . Team McCarthy wouldn't put him on if no good. But then again Team Allstars put Olivia on some of them as you say and she's pretty green yet and not real strong it seems to me. will get more beat like cox does than win like Williams did once. Jack would of been driving to Instructions mate . you know that . being involved in gallops and all . (jockeys always get instructions ) they would of told him keep Copy That, Mach Dan or anyone else parked and take your chances in front. I would of told him that myself. 8/ 10 drive because he didn't win it after 😂😂 can't win em all . great race though !!!! top 6 were 2 of Emma Stewarts , 1 x Grimson, 2 x McCarthy ( the 3 best Australia stables) and in amongst them was Old Town Road for Nz . did you like Zac's drive on him ?????

Hey i backed Cast No Shadow too. (as did ok Interdominion with it lol) $10 place and was about 50-1 to win here. Grimson horses seem to go ok lol.... nations best stable took the win though. Good to see them win a feature G1. They'll win plenty of those with the Captain too !! Captain Ravishing paid $1.01 last night. can't get any faster than that ? 😂

Mate you should try and enjoy some good solid racing. why hand up to Copy That and have a 'funeral procession' like they had at Ballarat. ? Park him out and see how good he is .? Spirit of St Louis had every 'right' to lead when drawn 1 if he wanted. Orange made the mistake. clearly 😉🍟 Also the winner Honolua Bay did in fact come around them down the back stright , and then dropped to the sprint lane for the run in with a 10/10 drive from Moran. Big race win from a big race drive. excellent stuff 🏆. you are correct in saying Jack Callaghan is not a good driver. He is in fact an Excellent driver. just 21 years old and won Group 1's already and about 400 races. so Already driving in top stables, on top horses, while still a youngster , the same as Cam Hart.

An exceptional night for the Nz bred horses. The little Interdominion Champion nearly took out the Hunter Cup as well with 'I Cast No Shadow' doing well for 2nd place , when 'Copy That' had some racing issues and pulled up. Good to see the Aussies breed a nice trotter in 'Just Believe' after years of dominance by the kiwi bred horses in the Trotting Interdominion and the feature trot , the Great Southern Star. Summary though from the results is a win for Brodie , being on the money, in his assertion of the better horses being bred on the kiwi side of the ditch. with a convincing points Win here in the comp and on the track. thanks guys. cheers from Gamma

couldn't agree more Forbs. everything is so much harder. you can work a few standardbreds togeather. they're much calmer. Have to be certain weight or rely on someone that is to exercise them . that is really against many harness folk taking up the hobby. Getting the buggers to run fast and try and beat the rivals is very hard work. Harness horses conditioned to it with solid 'mental' training that is applied to the animal. trailing another, sitting outside it, leading at all costs. they tune in a LOT better than thoroughbreds. Dux tried it for a while here , but went back to trots as results were much harder to get at Eagle Farm lol. and it's great having horses that can race week in week out all year long. Good old hardy Standardbreds !!!!

Has won near $100,000 in just 2 wins from 9 starts this season. Phelan the Power doing well. The 'entire harness team's earnings this season (January) 50 starters for just 5 wins and a paltry $50,000. yeah might as well just train gallopers ?

Good call it seems Forb's 👍. Just watching a replay of the Trotters Gold Cup at Cambridge last night and he drove a great race on one of Dr Luk Chin horses's. Safrakova didn't look particularly easy to drive either, and he had to urge it along on several occasions , including pulling the ear-plugs down the back straight , and slipping the field as best he could on the turn. A top drive !! well done to the young fella ! and also to the good 'Dr' who bred, trained and part owned the quinella duo.🏆
