The interesting thing I noted with the country cup was despite there being lots on the points table, only 14 nominated for the final and started, no emergencys., it stated that you had to nominate as normal, seems lots mustn't have bothered.

The app, i just uninstalled then downloaded again, it's actually very good as a rule, the website version is OK too, I just wonder if everyone realizes their is a app version.

One tends to get mixed messages, maximizing turnover was always the main objective but it appears not the case, moving more meetings to create clashes on Sundays suggest that. I've always questioned all the Southern meetings on Saturdays after Easter where it tends to get overshadowed by the gallops thus resulting in modest turnover so now what have they done, move most Southern days , to Thursday to I suggest maybe maximize turnover, nothing seems to make sense.

I think Messara gave out some rather odd ideas, Waikouiti stay open, Oamaru, Timaru, Gore and Riverton to close, odd to say the least.

It appears gallops got 6 new meetings, who got them, someone will know.

It states in the help section that the will pays are there, just that no one can find them, I looked yesterday, no such luck either, I think they are just leading us on.

I think Waimate when they raced in December ran a significant early 2 year old race, trying to think of its name.

That's what harness racing think, lots more money making days.

I don't think it's that bad, if some of you people can negotiate around a women then this should be a piece of piss., I have no problem negotiating around women, negotiating around them literally lol. In all seriousness though it's just ya average Aussie platform, one or two things I've noted, on the app, it only displays fixed each way or tote each way but on the tablet it shows both, at the bottom of results in has the tote pool, that's good but would be nice to know how much is invested on fixed odds. In the racing hub index it has indexes for horses, jockeys, and trainers, that's handy, maybe it was there before. I suspect the 2 bonus optiins may be where you get a deposit bonus, you may not be able to split that up, the other bonus, you can, I may be wrong.

OK, so many qualifying races with different points, why not just run certain number of qualifiers with winners automatic entry, at least in those races they would be trying.

I read on the points table said horse is ineligible, don't know if that's true.

I note Timaru does have 1 more day, September 25, also race October 6, same day as Methven trots, maybe gallops have got some extra days, I also note Monday meetings at Tauranga and Whanganui on their respective anniversary days. Still think it's a bit odd Harness on Sunday now having more competition, Sunday was their day, oh well the experts know better, maybe.

They seemed to have got rid of the Thursday, Friday double up, mostly I say in the North, I suspect some of these meetings won't go, I can see a extra meeting or two at Manawatu might extend the season there but if 2 meetings a week further North might impact as well. Interestingly Auckland only have 2 Thursdays, one the night before Easter and July 31, obviously Thursday didn't work for Auckland, just as they didn't for Forbury so now Southland race mainly Thursday, only 2 Saturdays, i think. With Sundays now racing more days, that seems odd but Canterbury turnover has been sponsoring Northern harness, maybe gallops on Sunday may sponsor harness meetings or is turnover at each individual meeting mostly irrelevant, seems you have to rob Peter to pay Paul.

I think the gallops got no extra days, when i started looking at calendar I noticed Southland on Oct 4 and Timaru on Nov 21, I thought maybe new days. but they just shuffled the cards and dealt a new hand, harness racing getting so many, well they can allocate them, don't necessarily mean they will run them all, time will tell.

Some Sundays have 4 , sometimes 5 meetings, that's including Dogs, maybe that's overkill.

A lot more Sunday meetings, Entains thinking is certainly different but is it thinking straight ?
