  1. Try sliding that off the bottom of the screen then let me know how you get it back...
  2. Yeahh...I can do that but I moved it off screen then couldn't get it back?
  3. Good idea. I followed Chimbu's suggestion then moved it off screen but couldn't get it back or pause it or anything.
  4. How do you get the streaming video to the background so you can see the full betting screen without that in the way but with it still playing?
  5. OK. Cleared the betslip and had another go and it worked Might have been because the other betslip had a "no longer available" bet on it? Go Bonny Ezra. I've $1 on your nose.
  6. Yes, I saw that but it is surely illegal if in fact they have permanently deleted and not stored the financial transactions as required (I thought) statutorily?
  7. OK. Just tried a FO bet at Otaki. Click "place bets" nothing happens. Anyone successfully got a bet on yet?
  8. Hmmmm... if I get audited by IR I'll pass that on to them. I'm sure they'll be delighted. However, if the records are really gone as Gonsta suggests, I presume I can just make some up.
  9. It surely can't be gone? They are obliged to store all financial transaction records for five years aren't they? And I'm entitled to access mine I thought.
  10. I thought I had an easybet to test the system but can't see it so maybe I didn''t even though I clicked accept?
  11. Can't work out the resulted bets section. Gives me this: Transaction History Filter: View Time Period No results found No results found - please modify search
  12. The video is definitely improved. Not brilliant but much better. I had no issues logging in except it asked me to verify my profile details once I did but that only took a few secs. Still getting lots of whirly circles when I change pages though. Might be just a time thing for it to get up to speed?
  13. They've got it up and running I think but I can check odds at 3 ozzie corps while I'm waiting for a page to load! Obviously, as Mark D said yesterday, 7 pm is earlier than it used to be and 12 pm is obviously later! Hopefully stakes will double shortly.
  14. Don't get me wrong. I claim no expertise in assessing form on tracks like Warrnambool. It has taken me 18-24 months to suss out Oz racing and only now think I have Sydney and Melbourne metro nearly sorted. The rest of Oz racing remains a mystery and I won't be betting there any time soon. So, I'll defer to your expertise. My comment was just a guess but then I tend to rely heavily on overall race times in assessing performance regardless of pace and bias factors which I mostly don't consider.
  15. Maybe the ones that get to the rail are also the fastest over the distance?
  16. Exactly. It doesn't really matter how many people are looking for value. That just creates the market. To win, you have to price more accurately than that market, then find value based on that. It's difficult but it's not rocket science.
  17. That's the difference in thinking that is needed to profit Hesi. Doesn't matter what your winning strike rate is, if the majority of the winners are not "value" you will still lose, as Mardi is trying to point out and like most do as you suggest. Also, as barryb has demonstrated in just a week's value bets. Of course if you can average 2 out of 3 even money shots, then you are home and hosed and shouldn't need to work another day in your life for financial reasons.
  18. Yeahh, but the point is that if it's even money and only one out of 3 does that, then profit wise, it's all bad!
  19. Which is why Thomass and one or two others can't quite grasp it.
  20. $126 on the way to the Maija Vance fund.
  21. Ok. You obviously still don't get the difference Mk2. Clearly, to make money you must have winners. But my rated best chances (which some would consider tips) will win more often than my value bets, however if I back those best chances regardless of price, I will likely lose money. The idea is to back horses that have a better chance of winning than the market says they will. Then, those that win will more than make up for those that lose. Check out a couple of other threads on here like Punting 1.01 to try and grasp the idea. I may not be getting through but happy to help if you have more questions.
  22. Only if I get $200 for passing go and don't end up in jail.
  23. Hopefully you are right. I may have misinterpreted that.
  24. It's bizarre. You have to re-log in? Surely not. I wonder how many will and what will happen to total accounts because of that. Not sure I'll bother if I can get my dough out. Be pissed if I have to set up a new account to do so.
  25. Paid cash for the last one I bought too. Never mind. That's not really the point of the comp. If you think you have the skills to compete, get on board. If not, try to at least understand the difference between a value bet and the horse I think most likely to win the race (a tip). Completely different things. When you get that in your head, come back to us.
