Yeah I don't know, think all runners in race have a chance - gotta be in it to win it. Im looking forward to see how MM goes, if he reverses the result on Sundees Son this time. Sundees seems slightly down on his best. And MM may have come back with a bounce in his step. But I'm no expert either. Finalized rules for comp Karrots Jewels Fun Comp 6th June 2021 Total highest collection of points wins. Each poster will have a total of 3 runners on day. There will also be 3 fun comps to compete in for day. Drivers challenge Cullens how many winners challenge Pick a place roughie challenge 3 points for 1st, 2 points 2nd, 1 point 3rd 1 point for correct answer 1 point for correct answer Participation points to encourage participation will be allocated. 1 point for each poster, for each challenge of the 3 listed above challenges. A max of 3 participation points is allowed. A max total of points any 1 poster can receive from challenge games is 8. Winners of each challenge also collect 1 participation point per challenge entered. Bonus points - in lead up, 1 bonus point is given for 1st correct answer of fun question. An additional bonus point is also given to a poster who participated by giving/offering a competition question. A max of 2 bonus points is allowed per poster. Karrots as the organiser of comp is not allowed to earn bonus points. A max of 10 bonus points to be given out overall. Current points standing Gamms - 2 points Taupiri Wonder - 1 point Big Bang - 1 point After the last race has finished a total collection of points will be tallied and the winner will be announced. The winner has 24 hours to claim the prize. To claim the prize you must public post to say something to recognize the win. If not claimed the next poster down on the list will be announced as winner and so on. The winner to be paypaled or bank deposited the money prize. Final prize amount to be advised closer to time. Hey JJ This is not specificially directed at you, If this bit is true Harness is an amateur sport and is run by amateurs then it doesn’t match up with the amount of repeat headlines it currently gets. Repeat headlines is way of trying to get as many eyes to it as Gamms pointed out, incase some peeps missed it. So why would the writer do that - with it being just an amateur sport? Referring to your and Brods debate, not sure why declining industry, my guess would be one word *TIME*. Time has no mercy. (saw this in a Netflix movie and thought thats so true).

Looks like Copy That had a good hit out today by workout results, won his by 5 & 1/2 lengths. Last 1/2 in 26.8. So race on. On a side note spy lil Sugar Apple is back winning nicely his workout. Like, Lady La Salle rank outsider, as a value place bet at $5.25, (IF she gets some LUCK & can get a nice run thru to get the trail) she was unlucky 1st start to finish a close up held up 4th & she qualified in fast time. Reading Purdon is driving in Geelong on Sat. Not sure I agree with you on this Brods. Listening to Cullen being interviewed on Boxseat, listening to his words, I get the vibe he is the man in charge. Yes Purdon is helping as what has been worded as something of an unofficial stable hand, which I would not think is unusual, if that was the agreement or similar when taking over a business. And the driving, too - helps keeps the owners at stable happy & they know the horses best & both are very good drivers too etc. The owners are big spenders, so they as a handover would want to keep as happy as poss. Also they may have good/great relationships with the owners after a long period, so from a friendship point of view, want the best for everyone. I do understand why you maybe skeptical.

Not long ago, heard on Box-seat or maybe read somewhere, that 1 of the owners of Majestic M rang Williamson while he in quarantine, to ask him if he thought the horse after Oz campaign could win Trotter of The Year. Thinking after the most recent BIG trot race, it could actually be a bit more open now. Had just thought Sundees Son would take it. Of course the key to the answer is in the future, with still a BIG trot race or 2 to go. Thoughts?
