  1. Boy hes going terrible. I see hes 3kg lighter than he was when racing for Clark
  2. 24 dogs in 6 months is not too much. NZGRA should have gone in their and backed these findings. Certainly doesnt correspond with the number they were using a few years ago. instead, the nzgra let them do this willy nilly without any back bone what so ever. I have always said however that their should be a fund in place so that these dogs can be saved when they hurt themselves. Even if its $50 or $100 a race so that these dogs are saved.

    3 news

Thought thee story on 3 news tonight was a bit of a joke.
  4. Especially when Steve Clark has known habit of attacking other greyhound participants over the years for mis-grading, mis-nominating their dogs, and constantly complains if he thinks a dog hasn't re qualified before racing.
  5. Apparently roberts is trialling dogs sunday aswell for the race at auckland.
  6. Completely disagree with the decision but the JCA's ruling is final, the dog will be allowed to compete in the Amazing chase. What a joke. Will they reopen the noms for those of us that were led to believe that we had to have our dog qualified to enter the series? And what about the dog itself? Due to this, he will only get one chance.
  7. Thats not the point. Nominating dogs with no intention of racing them is very bad and its become a joke. The same trainer does this sort of thing every week and the riu and nzgra cant enforce their own rules.
  8. I think they need it now. Meetings on tommorow. 11.55am start
  9. What was it this time? Blocked drains? Its hardly rained that heavy.
  10. Not even 7 days. What a laugh
  11. Yes LOL ?
  12. Apparently he doesn't ?
  13. Shouldnt be there. They were having a meeting today discussing whether he should be allowed to retain his place
  14. I was also very surprised to see the meeting go ahead today. I saw several dogs slip on the racing surface throughout the day. Its been similar in recent weeks. Surely this is a health and safety risk for the dogs?
  15. "1) - The inquiry which was opened and adjourned on 4th June 2018 following KING SHAQ and SNOOPY'S HERO starting from the incorrect box positions has been concluded. R Death and P Coutts (kennel Steward) were both fined $100 under Rule 62.1(o) for negligence with an administration error. Starter D Laing was fined $125 under Rule 62.1(o) for a boxing offence" Why were the two stewards in charge not fined for this aswell? Surely one of them would have noticed? Or were they being negligent aswell? Isn't it the STEWARDS job to ensure dogs are boxed away in the right boxes?
  16. I see the bloke that came from nsw recently to assess our tracks has made quiet a mess in nsw. Hopefully the same issues arent seen here
  17. Reading the rule. It seems like all the fields should have been redrawn where already nominated dogs must be considered. Not certain races where noms were changed or added. Bloody joke
  18. I see over on RC. They are discussing the redraw. I have to question why were all fields not redrawn? Just some after they reopened the noms for the entire meeting. Surely reopening the noms for this meeting meant the original draws were null and void. First time i have heard of this scenario. Is this another case of the nzgra waving their magic wand when it suits? Seems to happen more and more often everyday
  19. https://www.grnz.co.nz/News.aspx?NewsID=2815 How far would this go back? I wonder how many trainers could provide details of where their "missing" dogs
  20. I believe he has the equal fastest time of the year at Manukau over 527 if I remember correctly. And I have seen him trial faster than that. Same goes for Dusty Gambler. Both of these dogs at 100% will take some beating in the amazing chase
  21. I have seen both Dusty Gambler and Trip to Eden trial sensational times around Auckland and Cambridge. Nothing would get near what these two have trialed around both tracks. If they hit that sort of form over 527 before the cut of point. They will be top contenders. You are day dreaming if just because these types of dogs are stayers means they have no chance in this race (and I am sure Ring the bell would solo trial just as quick)
  22. Isn't he a superstar? Just keeps on improving and that time he ran tonight is flying. Scary thing is, he still looks like he is improving with every run
  23. Well not too many bigger trainers in NSW and victoria are using it so obviouslt isnt worth the effort
  24. Proof? Or more rumours
  25. Sold doesnt mean used. Ive never seen anyone in australia or new zealand use this equipment.
