They are able to bet thousands on horses and dogs of other peoples money with very little knowledge and ability! They advertise to bet responsibly and yet these amateurs are doing quite theopposite? Last night they put over $4K on a dog at something like $2.60 and it won picked by Andy Cook! After it won they acted like absolute Dickheads running around the studio! Seriously the show is so cringey and not a great look for racing!!

Reality is that Trackside will get rid of them in the future! None of them show any ability to pick winners and hard to understand who is giving them $ to punt on a Thursday night! Questionable and repugnant that they are able to get any amount of bets on with the TAB and yet other punters are able to get very limited amounts on!! Just shows how unethical the NZ TAB has become! Long overdue that the TAB starts treating punters equally!

Spatchcock, why are you not reporting info that you will be aware of? You believe that Cambridge is doing Ok? So why is the CEO of HRNZ being Santa Claus by throwing an extra $40k into the stakes for the World Driving Championship being held at Cambridge? It is to pay horses down to last in the hope that it entices enough runners to compete on courses where trainers dont want their horses to compete at??

Would be far better if they had presenters on that actually knew what they were talking about!, None of them show any ability for wagering soundly! Get rid of them or is this chaos what the TAB/Entain want?

It just doesn’t get any better for Cambridge in regards to field sizes! 54 carded starters over. 8 races is terrible and what is the future for racing in Cambridge due to their perilous financial situation and that combined with Auckland, is the CEO of HRNZ still saying that things are positive?

Thursday nights I thought was mainly for harness and greyhounds to a lesser degree and they are finishing up! Very confused as to what it is all about, appears to be trying to attract anyone who wants to bet on anything and who diesnt give a damn about whether they make money or not! I appreciate it is now Betcha sponsoring the show which is still TAB Entain! Would be interesting to see how many existing Trackside Presenters actually thinks this CLOWN SHOW is a great look and going go attract and retain punters? Hopefully it doesn’t last very long as from my humble opinion it is just 3 supposedly grown up men behaving like they are drunk snd dont give a rats! Anyway maybe some people think that it is comic relief on a Thursday night?

Watched a bit of this “ Out the Gate” for the first time! Are they serious? What an absolute bunch of plonkers!! Just pathetic show really can not understand Trackside putting this CRAP on!! JJ no one is taking Tabforever on at all! It is a forum that discusses things and people respond to posters comments whether they like them or not! TABforever posted a comment that appeared to say that he was employed by the TAB? Now he has stated that he hasn’t been on any payroll for 20 years? He is very hard to follow and then he states that he only bets on the tote pools? Seriously if you do actually know who he is then so be it, however clearly not the brightest punter around .

You are indeed a very hard one to get a line on TAB! If you are betting solely on the tote, then It is very hard to accept that you know what you are talking about!

The reality of it is that the NZ TAB have people in charge that I consider are too conservative like accountants. They have been worrying about yield rather than turnover and if you turn over less but have a higher yield then you are probably be in trouble. This is a sure fire way of losing the existing punters and I have maintained this for so long. They now have to resurrect things as they must by now be aware that the cash splash from Entain will quickly stop and they will have very little to show for it Still away but has the CEO of HRNZ yet realised that they are struggling or is he still very positive?

Correct that I prefer to get value but You also have to do the homework as you well know! still overseas but coming to an end, and csn trll you that looking forward to my decent bed rather than the hard slabs they give you in Europe and call beds! Might be ok if you're 20 stone but not when you aren’t lol! Just had a squizz of the fields at Mot for the first time and geez they look very difficult and even. Looking forward to hearing what they have come up with to turn things positive for the future, without all the Entain cash splash? What they are currently doing with Entain money is only a band aid that will come off! Entain have got what they wanted and now it is up to racing to perform!

It appeared that this Committee suggested by Winston was going to be formed to help sort out all racing in NZ, both thoroughbreds and harness! has it ever been formed and anything discussed or just another load of baloney? Racing in NZ is well past the crossroads and is heading into demise bigtime unless they can have people actually do something about it! Personally speaking doesn’t really effect me there’s nothing more certain than a very reduced level of horse racing in NZ once the guaranteed funds from Entain are gone! Just reality but I believe we have a very short period to perform and not squander or it is over! Hopefully Brodie is incorrect but it does not appear to be pretty.

Havent wagered on a galloping race in NZ for decades and so dont follow what is going on with thoroughbred racing! However from what Mr Ballesty was saying, the once great thoroughbred industry is even more stuffed than harness? So many issues and yet no one fixing them and yet they get all this Entain money and wasting it! Where js this great Committee they were forming to sort things out? Months down the track and nothing!!

We hear from trainers saying that they are looking forward to this day from HRNZ that has the $60k finals for horses bred by stallions under $5k! Of course if you win this then it is good for the owner and trainer obviously! This is only able being run due to the cash being injected by Entain otherwise it wouldn't be run and it seems that HRNZ dont understand this somehow? Anyway if they think they are going well then they are the ones in power but Who would be wanting them to run their business if they were wanting to stay afloat!

We need a representative from the TAB and HRNZ to provide info and support for their employer as to what they are doing and why! personally believe that we get very little out of either organisation!

He should know as he has all the relative figures so We need to just get on with it, knowing that we are being told the truth. Not sure why they called the Committee then and where it has got to? Mustve thought it was not required after all? What a relief 😅😂

I still waiting to hear what the big committee has come up with or was that just a load of hot air? There is no way pm earth they can keep spending big for another 4 years losing money. There has to be someone that pulls the plug before the time Entains 5 years is up. They need to act now or harness will never recover but then again everything is said to be positive apparently?
