I am sure most punters do have a TAB account although nowadays it is basically not worth the effort using it, for many restricted punters for the pathetic amounts that they are able to win!! Restricted punters are treated as crims for just wanting to legitimately have a bet, and now have been basically stopped from having a decent bet at an agency or oncourse due to this new policy to control every single punter in NZ. And you are totally incorrect TonkaTime in that the amount as detailed in the AML policy that the police needed to be advised as to money laundering at TABs and Casinos is $10k not $1k. The hierarchy at the NZ TAB are paid ludicrously high salaries to look after the NZ TAB and if they are so damn weak that they could not argue sufficiently with the MIA for them to comply with the policy as per the AML Act, then they should be sacked!!!!!!!! As I have said I am just not bothering with the NZ TABs stupid policy, as I am not a bloody money launderer and never will be or need to be. I don’t need to bet with the NZ TAB and they are probably happy about that, however anyone that thinks that this policy is beneficial for the NZ punter, then they are sadly delusional. The NZ TAB deserves to be deserted by the punters for their ludicrous decisions.

Imagine the times our horses would go over there if they had their blood slimmed! Yes our roses are far superior to the average horse bred I. Oz, and bear in mind that a lot of our horses that get exported over to Oz are last their best here as well!

The Self Service machines are going to be a waste of time for mAny punters and frustrating for someone standing behind someone who is betting or collecting over $1k and wanting to get a quick bet on!! There are going to be plenty more disgruntled punters at pub agencies as the bar staff will be busy serving drinks etc. What a blatant stupid system that the NZ TAB have introduced to control punters! They are going to lose many of their bigger punters without doubt!

The $1k policy that the NZ TAB brought in for betting and collecting has been in for a week now! I haven’t had a bet so no collecting either , and I certainly don’t intend to play the TABs stupid little game and I hope many other punters don’t as well until they come out and tell us all that it is about control rather than money laundering! Has anyone had any problems or not had to produce ID for the $1k? How does the Self Service Machines work for the $1k limit, how do you prove who you are with these machines????

Good to have you back Flag. Some aren’t getting shut down, some are really putting there foot in their mouth, where silence is often the best advice I would give given the current circumstances. HRNZ should have a register of what stables are using this Blood Spinning and publicise it to everyone, so we know what stables to back as the ones that have now acknowledged that they are using it, have much improved results without doubt!

I look every now and again to see if the site has picked up, but normally it just very boring since the intelligent posters left and joined the Premier Racing Community site! It a wee bit exciting at the moment as the Blood Spinning users are outing themselves lol. I am not naming names as I do not need to, but all is becoming very clear now! What do you mean $200 hardly huge? I realise that $200 is buggerall so why am I restricted to far less than that Newmarket? The $200 can become a helluva lot more with winning bets! Are they going to allow punters in the KPC to be unrestricted or are the restricted punters still going to be restricted seem it is fixed odds????

You start with $200 and you have to spend a minimum of $20 per race You can offload the whole $200 on the first race and then all the winnings from that into the second etc. So it can amount to hundreds and thousands not just the $200. If they are not worried about breaking them, how come restrictions on many punters are so Harsh?
