  1. I can not be bothered having a go on Premier night when the iddd are so short and dominated by the same Stable. Not earth the effort, give us a maiden anyway! I am not too sure of the crowd size at Addington, but I am sure it won’t be very large, as punters are just not bothering to go out and back stinking hot favourites anymore! Unfortunately Premier Racing to most punters has lost its gloss nowadays! The Jewels will pull the people out due to it being during the day, and will be far better over the 1980m at Addington, but it will be dominated as usual!
  2. So they aren’t going to want to be spinning the Blood for others!!! Is there any reason they need an elderly fellah doing the syringe work? Surely cheaper labour or is he working for nothing?
  3. Good to see it has now been changed! The TAB must be reading on this site,
  4. What current harness trainers using it????
  5. Wondering if the Blood Spinning Company is owned by Pilcher, and he seems to be doing all of the work, why does it cost so much per time? Does anyone know what other harness trainers are having this treatment done by Mr Pilcher?
  6. Interesting that the TAB has Oamaru on Sunday racing on the grass track!!! HRNZ has it Racing on the 1200m allweather track. You would wonder how they could get that wrong, wouldn’t you?
  7. 25 Trainers are using the Blood spinning? How many of these are harness trainers and how many are galloping trainers? I am unaware of any other harness trainers that are using it, so it must be mostly galloping trainers?
  8. Yes it was very one sided! Do we all think that this has now put to bed that everything is above board, and that one stable can dominate harness racing in NZ by being more professional and working harder?
  9. Yes the practice is currently legal in NZ at the moment. It was good to see The BoxSeat do the article on the Blood Spinning or whatever you want to call it! It obviously has therapeutic benefits that have clearly been proven or trainers would not be bothered doing it! Does it give certain stables that use it, an advantage over stables that don’t? Of course it does! Is this advantage plus other advantages killing harness racing in NZ??? Yes it is, and if you don’t think that this domination of all the feature races in NZ is seriously hampering the industry then you are seriously deluded! Yes it would’ve been great to have the other side of the storey put forward, however I doubt anyone would’ve come forward, as they know that it would’ve painted them in a bad light! Reality is that most owners and trainers are hating what is going on and has been for many years!!!
  10. Farty will be back as someone else! They need him to keep the site going!
  11. Brodie still in his prime and always will be!,
  12. The point is that the correct trainer should be in the Facebook, not someone who hasn’t been training the horse for weeks. Is there any reason that Margo Nyhan and Peter Davis aren’t registered as a training partnership, as we all know that Peter would being doing at least as much as Margo does?
  13. As I have said previously I have a problem with horses being under Trainers names if they are not based at the named trainers property. If they are not calling the shots and putting the cart on and overseeing the training operation where the horse is based, how on earth are they the trainer? I appreciate that under horse movements it is mentioned, but this is often weeks after the horse is actually stabled at the new trainers property! Yes I appreciate that Margo and Peter had a bad accident unfortunately, but the fact that they are not the trainers at the moment should be more clearly pointed out, to the fact that the correct trainers should be named as such!
  14. Heaps of horses improve when they change stables and change methods of training! it is a known fact that beach training is extremely beneficial for almost all horses! Easier on their joints, straightline training and bets fitness! Look how McLellan horses improve so much when they come up from Southland to Regan Todd’s place on the beach! Is he being dishonest too???????
  15. To be fair, we would all test positive to caffeine, whether it be by coffee or Coke! Wouldnt say it is performance enhancing and nobbled!
  16. The Brodster is home! Sorry no tent, as not that way inclined!
  17. Renezme
  18. What also happens is that if you have a reasonable investment on the win or place, they slash the other div, whether it be win or place!!!!!!
  19. Na, in Oz at the moment and the fields aren’t worth betting into tonight, as premier meeting!
  20. Ranga, I have heard bits and pieces, and from what I have been told, I don’t consider it RACE FIXING! If there is incriminating evidence as to fixing of results I am yet to hear it!! As for ordinary, probably not, as for old, Na!!
  21. You clearly know a helluva lot more than I do then Newmarket! Nothing is worth that sort of crap! Feel sorry for the charged ones, having it going on for so damn long! Why on earth does our so-called justice system need all this time to bring out the evidence and find out whether there is any truth to the charges FFS!
  22. No I didn’t say or imply that! What I said was that from what I have heard, from my line of thinking, no races were fixed! Tactics and intentions but not fixed! I haven’t got the evidence so who knows? This long winded delay to everything is doing no good for the harness industry!
  23. Probably not, as from what I have heard, doesn’t appear to have been any race fixing as they call it!
  24. Personally think that Tim Williams is a driver that alway spits his horse in the race. Yes, like every driver, he has had some poor drives, but he in my humble opinion one of the better aggressive drivers that we have. His record of driving Group winners for the AllStars I believe is pretty useful and if Mark and Nat didn’t rate him, then he wouldn’t be driving for them. He has improved remarkably from when he was driving down in Southland many years ago. Tim is always available for the media and I beleive that should he choose to train at some stage, he will be very successful, having worked for the AllStars Stable and being intelligent.
  25. Ranga, The Brodster is always on the money, end of storey! No one can ever point to when he has been wrong! Someone may have a crack, but won’t be correct!!!!
