  1. I did read that O'Brien was reasonably keen to bring Latrobe out. Got a Cox Plate nom as well which maybe a little odd.
  2. You haven't factored in adding a impact of wind based on speed and direction. Some serious trig involved there. And adding in the height of the jockey above the horse when riding. Also, the degree of any track camber has to be factored in - apparently.
  3. Pi and any things that relate to Pi is not the issue. It's your application of it in a race situation that is comical. Harness horses will often be affected by 6 times+ the amount of extra distance compared to a thoroughbred when they race two wide. Yet in that case you claim your 'formula' does not apply.
  4. He isn't constant either. He writes endlessly on how class of race relates to superior form. And then writes endlessly on how blinkers on makes horses run faster. So he now wants us to believe that Vega Magic ran best ever with blinkers on, which is saying that a G3 win is better than his G1 wins. Keep this up and he may soon realise that a maiden performance can also be better than a R85 performance. Who knew?
  5. We saw the effect of Pi and the effect of Black Type racing very clearly with Firebird Flyer. What a classic.
  6. More ignorance. Black type is a simple classification to give an indication, since there is no simple way for people like you to understand anything else. And only a nutter would think mile rates could mean anything in a breeding catalogue since times vary massively from track to track and condition of track. How could people like you understand them since there would be no information available to give an indication of the relative merit. You really come across as mentally deficient.
  7. You are really struggling. I didn't suggest you weren't coming back because of that comment. Don't you understand anything. If we are wasting your time, why are you posting?
  8. Exactly the same as when you see a winner with blinkers on first time.
  9. Yes FtF, but since then, they are both under a cloud. No WFA engagements for either for mid/late spring and both reported as suffering setbacks.
  10. All jokes aside, I expect for once you are telling things as they are.
  11. Somewhat further confirmed that though they weren't planning on targeting the race, they have both had setbacks - so Cup a no go if reports are to be believed
  12. I don't recall being banned more than once - all because you couldn't handle the truth when I told you, you were a liar. Prove I got banned more than once - or maybe you're continuing on your old ways. Aside from that, why would I not stay here.
  13. Clearly no one is wasting your time then since you are back. Hard to waste time that has no value though, so knew you'd be back.
  14. Proof? Didn't think so.
  15. Thank goodness. At least that may end the utter garbage you spew on this site continually. You get abusive when you can't handle that you've been chewed up, found to not taste so good, so then spat out.
  16. This thread is riddled with the usual hearsay from the usual suspect. Show us the survey. The vet was no doubt offering an opinion. Simple as that.
  17. Let me know if I've got this straight. 3 wide without cover and you apply your Pi rule. 2 or 3 wide with cover you maybe apply it or maybe you dont. You don't apply it when there is a camber but then you do if they don't have cover but only on NZ tracks and only for gallops. And the extra distance is only important when there are blinkers on next time? Is that right?
  18. There is no confusion about Pi. Your confusion is that you think you can apply it to the performance of a horse. All those horses in harness racing, going multiple laps of a track with a cart two+ wide. And winning. They must be freaks. Imagine if they had raced on the rail.
  19. I knew you were slow thomass, but this is ridiculous. Read what curious wrote and try and understand it. As for whether VM performed better than before, that is subjective. Hayes opinion may be he did, my opinion is that he didn't. End of story. If Hayes thinks a horse needs blinkers, he should put them on. There is no means of knowing to what degree the trainer thinks they will help, if at all. You just assume they help. But as can be proven, they generally don't. Are you suggesting that every time Hayes puts blinkers on, the horse improves? That certainly seems to be what you are saying. Why else would he put them on. Shall we put up the stats on all these top horsemen/trainers regarding blinkers on. Should make interesting reading.
  20. I've met David Hayes, had a few beers with his team. Tom also. I've helped Tom load a few horses onto the float as well. I don't know why you think Hayes can tell you whether the horse went better than before, than anyone else can. Do the horse's talk to him later?
  21. You're being spat out like a dummy, so you think lying will help your cause. Since I have never made either claim. I definitely punt Australasian racing, and GPS would be interesting at best. And as I DID say, not for working out distance covered.
  22. Let's put this discussion into perspective. On one hand we have thomass. So Mr Fraud, ask yourself this. Of all the people that disagree with you, why is it that at least they have managed to put some selections up pre-race. Prepared to be judged by that. Yet you continue to assert how great you are, and how right you are - yet are too scared to do that. What's the matter, the princess couldn't find your balls? He lacks credibility 100%. He's just an ignorant loser.
  23. He no doubt spends hours using guesses to work out relative performance of horse A versus the winner. Does his adjustments for unlikely, wide without cover, slow away. But is incapable of understanding whether the performance of the winner was any good compared to the horses, horse A is now racing against.
  24. Best legal performance enhancer
  25. I would say none from memory. Not a Auckland Cup, Derby day or Wellington Cup day.
