  1. Newmarket

    COME ON IN

He is a bit busy putting on her makeup before they go to bingo.
  2. For somebody with a stack of experience, thats pretty sad.
  3. Boys, When i look at hrnz site, sometimes no divs are shown. How can i get this info. Want to know divs on winner below race, also what treble paid. Thanks
  4. Geez thomass, leave the poor girl alone. How many times have you mentioned her?
  5. He would never sign up under his own name, too gutless
  6. Gee she was tough. Remember a few big aus races, she tough runs, but sill won. Probably still the best pacer that ants had?
  7. WTF?
  8. Yes, Jackfrost won very well, but the opposition was very poor. Supporting races crap, first time i havnt had a bet on middle day. What were crowds like today freda?
  9. Yes, thanks Chief. Some great posts and threads on here.
  10. Maybe sth island horses have improved slightly, but the nth island horses that have started are nowhere near as good as previous years. Usually had large fields?
  11. Wow, You would have to say the first 2 days of this carnival have produced the worst fields ever. What a shame, we used to have real good northern horses down here, but poor now. Whats happened?
  12. Won over 2200m from 30m behind. Not against the real good ones, but very good effort.
  13. Somebody from other site had sent me proof that newmarket on rc is scoobs. Its funny
  14. Funny thing, i was there that day, sitting up in public stand with a few mates. The crowd stood up, and you could really hear the gasps. I have seen replay of the crash many times, and gavin is correct, somebody had a bloody dog out there on track, horse coming back around other way, and horse driverless racing in field? Yes, when you think about it, race should have been called off, bloody dangerous
  15. You would have to say Christian Cullen was the most followed horse in the last 20 or so years. Maybe it was that he looked so good, omeara trained that made it a horse to get behind. Remember dobson giving away free caps etc also. Derek jones also took blossom lady on travels too, i remember turning up outside a tab in chch. Funny how some horses get real following while others not so much
  16. I didnt know you worked at Kentucky, which store?
  17. Thsts why i know scoobs is not oldwhiteman. He is flat tack on that site trying to remember passwords for all the made up members he has. Its a good chance those comps will cost him zilch, he is 50% of the entries!! Thats why he has so many new members, even my name popped up. Desperate messures for a desperate man
  18. Hands Down no 1 for me, i know there are many that went quicker etc, but he is my fav. Going to those August meetings at Addington always got me excited for cup time. Great mare Armalight comes in at no 2. Amazing record, went some big races at the end of her career against the very best. Inky Lord in at no 3, mainly just for his cup win, amazing effort after getting knocked over on home turn. Terrror To Love for his 3 nz cup wins at no 4, and dead heat for no 5, laz and flashing red. I know, they are all cup winners, and my favs over the years. Only 3 months till cup!
  19. Well, scoobs is old, he is white, but he aint no man. ?. And the only gill he knows is on some spotted tiddler he catches at the beach... beats crabs i suppose.
  20. Good on you for asking the questions freda. If that $80 fee is in the hands of a so called promotions man, i think he needs to go back to basics. He wants to get as many people as he can to join, in fact if i was involved, i would be giving new members 20% discount if they join!!
  21. I remember a few times fog was worse, even recall race caller calling race from mobile? Is that correct?
  22. Would like to know too
  23. Depends where you sat barry, think 2 adults could have gone to rugby final cheaper than getting to members area riccarton
  24. You can easily see why crowds are dwindling. If Kak paid $74 entrance, a few drinks, bit of food and taxi, you are well over $200 before you have a bet? Put on $200 on the horses, even if nill return, your up for day. Might have to get mrs crossword book or something to keep her amused
  25. Why do they charge $80 joining fee? At a time when membership is falling, you would think clubs would entice new members, rather than charge extra fee? I didnt go yesterday, but a mate i talked to said it was the least he had seen in members area.
