Happy Sunrise Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 I still like Prince Teka for the place at 5 80ff. He does things right and was unlucky last start. His main rivals (who are all pretty handy types) Monaro Maro, Escargo and Overzealous are all prone to breaking so if PT can get ahead of them it is a good bet. R1- 2 Nanelle Franco, should be too good for these. R2-5, Ford Rule, Very short odds but will be surprised if beaten. R4- The 2 Anderson runners worth including. R5- Markham Eyre. The TAB certainly haven’t enetered into the festive spirit with lifted betting limits and then slashing odds significantly so that there is no value!! Good luck Why do you see Ford Rule as a likely winner? Was it that impressive when it qualified at Rangiora recently? Maybe the grass will suit it and it appears to be a quick beginner, but $1.45 fixed to win seems ridiculously short for it first up doesn’t it??? 1 Quote
