Why do you see Ford Rule as a likely winner?

Was it that impressive when it qualified at Rangiora recently?

Maybe the grass will suit it and it appears to be a quick beginner, but $1.45 fixed to win seems ridiculously short for it first up doesn’t it???

By all acounts, begins fast and has worked in grass. As you say, pretty short, but terrible field.

and another horse with a different road to Westport. Not paying much all things considered.

Bushman is a former Hunter trained horse who was very one paced!

However Hunter’s horses do go well on the grass for some reason!

Baker Creek should win it with any sort of luck you would think?

I am getting out of bed in 19 minutes. Can't wait.

I see there is an omen bet in the first due to me being in bed since Ashburton on Sunday.... Madame Frost....ummm...that is Mrs Happy

Say no more.

Don't trip over the bourbon bottles when you get up!! My first Sam ottley bet in the first $8ff

I still like Prince Teka for the place at 5 80ff. He does things right and was unlucky last start.

His main rivals (who are all pretty handy types) Monaro Maro, Escargo and Overzealous are all prone to breaking so if PT can get ahead of them it is a good bet. Kash Valley might be getting a bit tired as it should have won one by now.

Disappointing after the run it had.

Not happening at the moment for me.

Odd. Even a long shot horse would run on better than that from the trail. Kind of performance that indicates not all well?

I was roundabouts but no good. Punting gods are against me.

Have noticed over the years at westport, some go crap first day, bolt in 2nd day. Who knows, could be travel sickness

Hey Brodie, I was on the money

Roman, yes you were well and truly on the money!

It did go good.

Matt Purvismis a young bloke that is making an impression in the training ranks!

Great to see young ones coming thru because we need them!
