The people you  appear to like calling the entain nah sayers,are the ones who have consistently said entains going to focus on increasing their profits from sports betting and to do that, obviously it should go without saying ,they would have to grow the revenue.

so what you posted really does nothing whatsoever to discredit anything anyone has said about entains intentions or performance. In fact the contary is more applicable..

also,whats the breakdown % for sports and racing. And when it comes to harness racing,they have held many more meetinghs. Thats an obvious factor if their % went up..

and another obvious factor.

We know betting agencies  revenue is impacted negatively or positively,depending on whether favorites are winning any sporting contest. Just as their racing revenue can be effected by the same thing.i.e. more favorites winning or losing in say the nba ,nrl.anything with an n in it,means more or less revenue.

And of course it depends what happened the year before,when you compare a  year with the previous.

anyways, i think it really would  need further analysis as to the actual impact on nz harness racing,which is what we comment on when it comes to entain.

If Harness is down on revenue then who whose fault is that?  Not ENTAIN'S.

PLUS there is another $100m in the pot due to the legislation passing.  Now you should direct your attention to happens to that lump sum.  Stakes or invest?

I still believe to maximise potential income/profit from sports then they need to upgrade the in play platform, and maybe they will in time, if so the sooner the better, I have no issues with Entain, I just hope they can up their game, they are a large unit, probably NZ is a very small market for them but as it's the only outlet we have in NZ it's important its up to same standard that others have access too.

I have Sportsbet where if you're betting while a match is In-play , you have to Ring in to the Bookie phone centre. 

This makes sense , as otherwise people would be going over the top in a short space of time if thinking they are on a winner. Alas Most are on a loser and legislation and limits stop people from 'Losing the House ' while drunk or thinking that large bets are easy or whatever.  trying to win fast. they get themselves blocked real quick. 

One winning scenario was a Pundit had turned his $1500 footy Bet into $3000. so promptly deposited another $2000 and launched into the very next match with a $5000 bet. which won . He collected $7500 . tried to launch a third time but was timed/maxed out and maximum next bet of only $2 was allowed  😂 .

Don't forget that they are already miles ahead of the previous mob that ran the TABNZ into insolvency.
