Incorrect. He didn't use his employment position to condemn. He used his personal facebook page.

He also quoted from the Bible, and he didn't condemn anyone, he was in fact trying to save them if you read what he posted.

Where is the hate coming from?  The actual hate is being directed at Folau himself for quoting the Bible and his religious belief. You want Folau to disappear into oblivion so it also follows that you would also like the Bible to be banned.

If he is expelled from rugby it would show Rugby Australia up as a complete hypocrite as the following seems to be perfectly acceptable behavior from professional sports people.

"He didn't kick his heavily pregnant wife's stomach while she cowered on the floor in the foetal position, nor did he pick up his ex-girlfriend and hurl her into a garage door in the early hours after an epic bender and he didn't kick the shit out of an unconscious person lying in the gutter outside a nightclub. He hasn't intentionally smashed an opponent's jaw to smithereens in a pre-meditated on-field incident nor gouged an opponent's eyes and never though to stick his index finger up an opponent's bum as a defence strategy.

Folau hasn't been caught on an I-phone, pants around his ankles and frolicking in the company of an unsuspecting mutt nor orchestrated the running of an illegal dog-fighting ring, given electric shocks to horses and anything else to anger the RSPCA. never once has he been accused of unlawfully distributing intimate videos without the consent of those filmed or of mistreating women in any other way. He has never been caught drink-driving nor been charged with any crime.

He hasn't racially abused opponents, called them monkeys etc or called them gypsy boys. He hasn't manhandled referees, assaulted teammates and bashed them to a pulp, stolen money from his fellow player's wallets while they weren't looking nor being caught on video bragging about his love of the Bondi marching powder and never once tested positive for using banned substances either in or out of competition.

He hasn't placed bets on other teams to win or lose, been caught in the throes of orchestrated sports cheating or scheming to rig the system. He hasn't chewed on blood capsules at a crucial point of a game to stop time. And he has never ever been accused of standing over young and impressionable teammates compelling them to cheat, go to church or do anything else with the threat of being expelled from the team if they refuse.

My goodness what a bad bad person Folau must be if his contract is torn up and he is expelled. ?

Who on earth wrote that rubbish?  Alan Jones?

Actually he used his publicly available Instagram account...nothing about private

Many of those examples are illegal for a start...most have had their contracts torn up....

And Folau was reminded yet again to abide by his employers guidelines when signing up to the new 4M contract...he broke the contract...yet again...

He could have limited his hate to only his followers

Lets do a racing analogy...

Oatham posts on Twitter he believes all Gays will be going to Hell...and REPENT NOW...using his high profile to engage a wide Racing audience...

...he then has to prosecute Matty Cameron for not riding out a neddy such as Mime...

Ross Neal has an affair with a Trainers wife...then has to sit on a panel to prosecute that Trainer....Its a wonder he stayed on so long...working in the INTEGRITY INDUSTRY

Free speech and actions doesn't include embarrassing your employers

Imagine a Cop posting this rubbish...then expecting the taxpaying Homosexual Community to have to listen to that public dissection?

Australian Rugby could be in financial ruin when sponsors pull out...all for the sake of one person....tell other players theyre going to lose their employment and be assured...they won't be supporting his right to free speech

So Thomaas in your last diatribe you have suggested Reefton should be swatted aka killed like a mossy.

You're a sanctimonious hypocrite.  Your tenure here is on this ice particularly when you suggest violence as you have just done.

Ffs it was a joke...even Reefer would realise that...what's on this ice?

Come on Thomass. Folau had a number of different types of sinners listed,  no doubt thee and me would be included. Funnily enough I didn't take any offence and the so called outrage has come from one group solely.

Any coincidence that the main sponsor's CEO is gay and has called for Folau's sacking threatening to pull sponsorship yet that same CEO condones being in partnership with Emirates. The utter blatant hypocrisy is plain for all to see.

As to Matty C if he gives Trud's another burst he could well be tempting fate.  She doesn't take many prisoners.  ?

I am 100% with Israel on this one. It appears to me that Rugby Australia consider quoting Bible verses in public a greater crime, than gouging opponents eyes, kicking pregnant women, beating people to a pulp late at night, and exposing themselves in porn movies without the permission of the aggrieved party. Israel is not guilty of any offense as far as I am concerned. He has done know more than preach in public, something that is common on street corners and other public spaces. I will always defend the right to be able to preach in public places, and anybody that is interested in freedom of speech and democracy should be supporting Israel.

Yes Thomo i completely agree it was harmless and tongue in cheek, but an example I suppose of how thing can be completely taken out of context eg Israel falou if everyone picks out bits and jumps on the band waggon things get blown out of proportion...... consider yourself schooled....come away from the bossom of Jacinda ?

Of course not..but being mature aged grey haired old f'ers..it's like water off a turkey

Not So for immature Island teens...battling with major issues like homosexuality....where their very strict religious upbringings are black and white

Folau has taken everything literally from an ancient tawdry old bit of fiction thinking Homosexuality is a disease to be cured...

Hypocrisy?  I'd call it the reality of International business....if we called out China on every human right breach we'd be eating dirt....

Being the paymaster they call the shots...it wasn't as if he wasn't warned....

...he could have shared his views with friends...but he thinks he rules the World

It is still hypocrisy under any other guise Thomass whatever way you want look at it. Would it have been an issue if it had been a CEO who wasn't gay?

To persecute a poor individual Christian boy is rather all too easy rather than call out a country/ies that persecutes all gays by throwing them off buildings or a public stoning to death and dealing with them as if it doesn't happen.

If Folau so incenses him one would think that he would do the right thing and resign as CEO of Quantas rather than operate with Emirates. So yes, the hypocrisy abounds.

Everyone including you are missing the point...

Modern day Employment contracts stipulate you won't be embarrassing your employers with personal destructive beliefs with public dissemination or you're gonnnnne

Imagine if a number of Jockey homophobes bombed Matty Cee telling him he's going to Hell right after he rides his last winner?

It brings the Sport into disrepute and Racing's Sponsors will make a quick exit to some other inclusive pastime

Folau was warned about public opinion bile...the paymaster has spoken....now he can go crazy...without 4M in his kick

You do realise that there wasn't a social media clause in Folau's contract. Castles tried to add one into the contract in November but it wasn't agreed to.

Anyway, we will learn of the decision later today and if they do want to rip up his contract it will then end up in Supreme Court.

Persecute a poor Christian boy ??? is that a joke?

The most protected species since ever! The same species now forcing Alabama residents (some children)  to have children if they are raped.

No hypocrisy at all, he violated his employment contract, plain and simple, not for the first time.

The ‘freedom of speech’ line is thrown out every time some redneck wants to air their hatred, yes, freedom of speech has to always be protected, but that is no escape clause to spread hate speech.

Freedom of speech doesn’t let you say whatever you like without some consequence.

I think it will be the Employment Court first, then if need be, High Court, and if still to be resolved Supreme Court. I think Employment Court should favor Israel. At least that's what I hope will happen.

Freedom of Speech DOES allow you to say whatever you want to say.  DOESN'T mean you have to agree with what was said.

I've always taught my daughter to be polite, staunch in her beliefs and to defend those beliefs rationally.

I don't think Folau has failed my advice.

It's a general stipulation that players won't bring Australian Rugby into disrepute..the Panel found him guilty az sin of a High Level breach.....

The AFL agreed with Castles not inserting a tight social media clause as that gets them into trouble with unintended consequences...

Quantas weren't the only ones of course...his personal one Asics...then Land Rover took his car back...

"While Israel Folau is entitled to his personal views, some of those expressed in recent social media posts are not aligned with those of ASICS.

"As such, our partnership with Israel has become untenable and he will no longer represent ASICS as a brand ambassador."

Of course...and if it's defamation there will be consequences....

Just as hate speech is encouraging or inciting others to commit criminal acts...as per the mass murderer's on line social deviants

Or in Folau's case causing vulnerable young citizens to question if they have a legitimate place left on this earth..and only Hell awaits them...

Folau has failed miserably in the 'rationality stakes' suggesting Homosexuality is a disease that can be cured...

...only half witted morons like him would believe that...

I'd be quite happy if you contributed financially to the forum that allows you to express your views.

Would a few winners suffice...pm me xx

Anyway I'm off on the town to create bedlam and Hell on Earth...

firstly get blind rotten....Im going to look for a married women because usually they're passionate and their husbands are ignoring them....

...fornicate myself silly...after idolising  and putting on a pedastal the hottest married Blonde....I'll probably steal her panties...only if they're lace of course...

Then if all that fails...and only as a last resort...no offence Matty...homosexualise myself all the way to Hell...

wish me luck

Where did Folau promote death?  He only said that certain sinners would end up in Hell.

You are typical of the Left you participate in virtue signalling while writing your own form of hate speech against Reefton.

I suppose it is OK to preach the bible or the Koran in temples but not on social media?  Or will the Left march in and moderate every sermon and redact the bible and Koran of anything deemed offensive or hateful?

Do not be concerned CS. I've been the subject of attacks by individuals far more poisonous than that imbecile.  I have however had a couple of beers this evening so Tommy Titmouse will be replied to tomorrow morning.

Wow exciting life down there Reefer!

Ive just got home from a full night of fornifying and I'm still high too!

Im so happy I feel like hugging the cat...and if Israel was here I'd hug her too!

Trouble is I can't remember much at all...although I've just discovered another pair of panties in my back pocket..after cleaning out three pairs from the breast pocket...

It must have been a bodice rippin' foricating night of indulgence thanks to Israel ...You?
