I don't know if the occasional harness punter is put off by the poor dividends and doesn't reinvest on future more run of the mill harness meetings. I suspect many would fall into that category. I agree that those promoting the sport overlook how these premier meetings can give new punters an impression that the risk versus return factor of punting on harness is not worth it.
