Happy Sunrise
They teamed up at Forbury last week to do well which seems par for the course when they combine. Blair seems to happily drive for this trainer and the trainer seems to want him to drive too. Seems odd that one is supposedly on the defence side of INCA and the other is being portrayed as being a nefarious one on the other side of the fence. Just seems illogical that that the two of them would still be a team. Someone better explain this to me. Someone....please....anyone....
Newmarket
Yes, I agree. Seems strange when all this news broke, than somebody was placed on suicide watch? Now if you did nothing wrong, why would you ever think that was an option. Its obvious the police have more info, just because you charge someone the defence will always build a case, trust me, there is plenty of evidence on devices over many, many months. LJM just doing his normal wanking on stuff, so what he has read 500 pages, he doesnt even know what the police have. Remember, last time he tried to help whanua, they pleaded guilty!! He is going to look a little silly again, but it will be fun. He loves being in the limelight, be funny seeing him decked out in his finest in court. Lets hope he can control the F words ?
Chief Stipe
Newmarket surely by now the Police have complied with the disclosure to the defence of ALL their evidence.

There aren't many reasons and less than full disclosure seriously impedes the defence case. I doubt the very high threshold for withholding evidence will have been met. As for race fixing, we have all heard the rumours. Several people involved in harness, had some good bets going on a certain race in the upper sth island, when they came in, those involved were going on an overseas trip to the US, of course trip canned when this came out. Lets just assume someone ,on reflection, believes they have made an error in judgment . Why wouldn't they have an association with someone who expects his drivers to maintain integrity, given the person who made some previous poor choices wants to have those standards himself. And the person he works for trusts him to live up to those standards. All hypothetical of course.,but a simple explanation for you.

I am at a total loss to be able to explain how Michael House has been able to win races all around the country this season. To be fair Michael was no better than an average trainer until he started taking many horses to Palmy! Yes I can understand him Winning at Palmy, but he wins at Auckland, Addington and other South Island locations! Something has definitely changed without doubt with his training. Is he involved with this Blood spinning thing, that doesn’t improve horses performance????????

Would be interesting to have someone do a background documentary for Trackside, to see what the difference is! His horses have all grown another leg, and definitely something has changed!!!! the galah
Obviously having a wife for a vet must be a plus. I think his team has improved partly because of her. The other obvious factor is he uses good drivers, like blair orange who just has the knack of getting the best out of any horse for any stable.. if you look at the horses that won over the weekend. Warloch finally got a race run to suit,in a field where it was amongst the top 3 on ability. Rake had gone some ok races prior to seeming to lose interest, then joined the house stable. where its form improved a bit. Delightful major has plenty of ability so its win was to be expected. And narelle franco has always looked an out and out sprinter, although the ease of its win was a bit of a surprise. Its actually one of those horses that has always pulled its head off,yet for months was driven under a stranglehold and if you had backed it you were left wondering about its drivers at manawatu. John Morrison just lets it go instead of fighting it. Horses never perform when drivers fight them. I think another factor is some Canterbury stables have been underperforming in the last 12 months on previous years.
