Great Forbury for highlighting this and yes Happy what a fantastic idea. Someone should put his name forward for it, based on his achievements.

On a side note, taking a look thru exported and then stable changes and I see approx recently 9 horses transferred out from 1 stable. Go to that persons name and it says not currently licensed.

Maybe I have missed something and retirement had previously been announced. No opinion nor speculation from me. Just noting public made info.

Has he done a 'dalgety'?

The All Stars take a break from training and it is big news yet when Dalgety and Kerr disappear and go licensed there is nothing on any news avenue at all. It can only lead me to guess it is not a positive that is happened.

All those big social media identities are deathly silent about it too. Will the Box Seat cover it? Not on your nelly. HRNZ? Never. Offnracing website still has him down a listed trainer on its website though he is no linger a trainer.

Harness is a joke sometimes.

Was in line to pick up a few from All Stars as well from what I'm told as is Regan Todd.

Lost his Open Driver licence too, you hate to speculate but he and Matt A were a great combination.... i was thinking maybe he was moving to AUS but if so his licence's would remain until the end of the season.

This is more fishy than a 'K' road brothel.

Mitchell

So he sent an email to his owners, Friday, saying he is giving up for personal reasons and if you want to contact him you should not phone but email. That's from one of his owners who was advised the horses had been transferred to Paul. I'm hearing some have been sent elsewhere.

As always innocent until proven guilty. May be absolutely nothing in it.

Worthy of some form of public announcement, especially the sudden nature of it?

I suppose 'personal' means private but just so odd considering the ability / strike rate of his team and he was on the up with so many good horses.

He would have been one to have taken advantage of the All Stars situation but not to be obviously.

Dalgety, now Kerr, maybe the game needs to do better supporting these trainers.

You mean your mates on the dark side had to clue you in what some of the story is.

All I will say is if the allegations I’ve been hearing are true then he should get life!!

Dave. How wrong you are as some friends were Kerr clients and thats where my info comes from. There is obviously more to this than is out there at present.

Fell free to enlighten the team on here if you so desire on what you have heard

Totally agree happy.

So many of those who promote harness racing are hypocrites when it comes to giving followers of the sport news that may shed a negative light on anything or anyone.

They  know silence only leads to speculation, yet they are silent anyway.

Who knows, maybe the riu is keeping the sport honest. That theory is just as good as any.

They rush in to break news when it suits but if it is their mate or not convenient they go silent.

They talk about attracting people to the game but the shit that goes on largely uncontested in harness racing is a complete turn off.

If you are confident of the veracity of your "news" then post it.  After all the truth is a good defence.

. I posted earlier that my sources were multiple ex owners of the  stable. The news is stable closed under somewhat of a cloud and potential investigations may occur
