I agree with this Ramsay in that I don't get it. Why do people want to do this, if this is the case. Doping or whatever it is that maybe going on 😟

They do it for greed. They do it to make money, those in the know get on early with FFWin, FFplace, FFF3 etc. A horse with little form could be paying $20+, those in the know stick a few hundred on it, price drops, they stick more on it. They could end up getting a few thousand on at a good price. Eventually, the bookies will drop the horses price because of this but those in the know have already got on at the right price. Profits galore and stake money too. The love of money is the root of all evil...

Ok.

Everyone has different perspectives as to what is a lot of money is. To me a few thousand dollars against the risk, is just not worth the risk - reward.

Regardless for me, even if what I would consider a big reward, wouldn’t be interested.

I’m for fair play for ALL.

But it is what it is. And I do get your point.

PS just do it honest fair & right like Brods did it when betting. Until you get the no-more stick haha. But that might change in future … the restricted punters …

iIf I was driving a horse with choppers that large  I think they'd have to put the blinkers on me.

Makes you wonder about the other horse he trained earlier, Held To Ransom??

Was only a battler, until it joined stable, then overnight went well??

FFS, I for one are over this shit, over 40 years harness supporter, had enough of dodgy shit.

Types like this scum Alford have always been around mate. Thankfully today his type have more chance of being caught due to technology. Woodend beach must be a crowded place with so many horses being trained there so hard to keep a secret? Was he shopped by an honest horse person?

From a beauty point of view as it has been mentioned here & not political, she just needs some filler in her top lip then her smile would be picture perfect.

She has not done this & would have the resources to do so, so guess she is content within herself with the way she presents.

Will be interesting to see what the tests return.  Obviously confident that post race testing wouldn't pick anything up.

The horses were transported to Addington and swabbed so will be interesting to what the swab results show in comparison to what was seized from his stable

I see the very heavily backed Jesse Alford stablemates in race 5 have been late scratched by stewards.

Motor Mouth who struggled racing down South was backed in from 9s to 2.80 within an hour of fixed odds opening while Johnny Nevitts opened favourite and was also well supported.Hopefully nothing untoward going on

Maybe Mitch got a loan?

On this occasion so the whisper goes they were even more devious and greedy. The money was put on Motor Mouth early to drop the price and seem to others that this was the one they were having a go with. The money was then cashed out and placed on the stablemate Johnny Nevits at the inflated price, hence it dropping in late. A very cunning plan to deceive the punter and if this is correct there is no place for Alford in harnes racing, EVER.
