You really are a fuckwit Pasta Boy, and a dangerous fuckwit, with views like that you'll be standing waving a Chinese flag when they arrive FFS......ask you old man about Neville Chamberlain and why we all had to go to war in 1939......FFS, you conscientious objector you.

'We' went to war in 1939...because Germany invaded Poland and Gt Britain...didn't like...that and declared war on...Germany.

I seem to have dropped into a twilight zone , thought it was a thread about Jamie Richards .

Holey Pasta has a habit of going off piste.

There is no doubt Richards is amongst the best in NZ.  He isn't in my opinion in the top league of Ozzie trainers.

I'm firmly of the opinion that his NZ success is the result of a whole lot of factors working in his favour.  Many of which he will need to manage himself in Hong Kong.  I don't believe his success in NZ will translate directly to success in Hong Kong.  The pressures there both professionally and personally will be a real test.

World leaders in what exactly?

You can’t argue with their results. Year on year they are staggering if you read the annual reports. Huge local turnover plus the large amount of commingling turnover from overseas betting.

https://amp.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/hong-kong-economy/article/3147062/hong-kong-jockey-club-posts-record-revenues-hk280

As for the horses they sell through the sale up there, last June according to results, they sold 22 horses. Not even 1% of the horse population.

Jamie only has to worry about training and getting support with owners, nothing else. There are no overheads for trainers in HK.

Training in HK will set you up financially for life should you be successful.

The club take the training fees from owners, they pay the staff and allocate them to the stables. Nothing to do with trainers. And I’m told if you want a specific feed or supplement for your animals, the club will get that for you

Isn't that a call made by the Trainers of 95%+ of the yearlings bought at the K1 sale?

I guess now Richards won't have DC to apologise for....just himself.

I wouldnt say that.  And 95% of the horses purchased he sales arent promoted publicly as potentially the next Savabeel.

A quick perusal of the thread will reveal who diverted it....and it was not..me.

I don't rate Ellis but I do rate Richards, would I send him a horse if he set up here, you betcha, he's proven, plaudits to him for trying to go it himself, but HK is not the place for him, Ballarat/Hawkesbury/Wyong would be ideal as it's not too divorced from his MO in NZ.....but leave Ellis behind, the bought by David brand is wearing thin.....

What did I get wrong?You have N.F.I.

I'll debate/thrash you in  the political forum..if you like.

Ok last post on this thread before I get punted for hijacking........We went to war because Neville C sucked up to Hitler believing that kindness wins over evil, meanwhile Hitler believed kindness to be a sign of weakness and subsequently went into Poland. Apathy is almost as bad as evil Pasta Boy, if you ever get to understand that you'll come right and join us......I learnt my mantra from old Dad, who did six years away, lost the use of his leg that was mangled by shrapnel, lost his bother to the Germans for 3 years in a POW camp, and lost his youngest brother to God as he was killed near Ravenna in Italy......if the Poms had of been more on the ball, Hitler would have thought twice and even if he had of gone ahead, the Allies would have been far more prepared......end of, back to young Richards.

Just out of interest does anyone know if NZ Racing news is officially affiliated with Te Akau?  Or do they just have the same corporate colours by accident.

Probably a good idea. We have enough trouble with anti vaxers infiltrating the place. I haven't bothered reading your stuff but it looks like lunatic fringe stuff as well.

No surprise that you make a statement that is nonsense and the default ad hominem for the cerebral challenged.

Include Fortuna in your theory.

Its not really a theory its a fact that they have the same colours but since Melody Belle is always included as a Te Akau horse i guess you are right.

What it's a fact that "NZ Racing News is affiliated with Te Akau" or it's a fact that they share the same colours?

As for Melody Belle being "always included as a Te Akau horse" considering it was bought by DC Ellis and trained by Te Akau then you'd say they had a fair right to to do so.  One of those "value" buys at $57,500.
