Colgan - McNab - Bosson apparently all positive.

Meanwhile, Rosehill and Flemington party like its 1999.

We are just lucky that NZTR got them all vaccinated so it was never going to be an issue for the industry...!

Can someone explain how Opie rode in r2 on Lady Koval, surely you would produce a negative prior to r1,does not add up to me,

I do believe Ms Nicholas is and ok rider, but her ride on Row of Eights was worthy of a charge of not giving a horse every possible chance. M Williamson needs to be replaced or at least stood down for a period and yes I did have bet on Row Of Eights

Disturbing program on radio this morning how the disabled are being forgotten during the pandemic. From personal experience I know there is a severe cut down in health services. Yet the Government thinks the only disadvantaged are Maori which to many overseas observers they are the most privileged on earth. Millions spent on consultants etc to set up another duplicated bureaucratic entity yet little at the coal face.

Are you saying the three Jockeys stood down are disabled?

Therefore the holy water (P-fizzzer) isn't working.

I'm currently writing a book (titled CHAGS) about how I evaded covid, herpes, AIDS, gonorrhea and syphilis.

Noticed Centaur has a thing about Maori's not just this in post but in a lot of others.

Full credit to Wiremu Pinn and those that have helped get him back in the saddle.  A natural horseman and I already rate him above Michael Walker.

I too noticed how he dismounted from the mare who is known as being cantankerous.  Didn't let her go and took her tongue tie off.  Good thinking.

I also like how well he spoke after the race saying his focus was on being a better person first and then a Jockey.

I also like his quip about it being a shame the Auckland Cup was no longer a Group 1.

You're missing out on a lot of fun trying to catch a few of those.

Chief,he didn't dismount, he got dropped when she whipped around.I watched her going to the start and she was a hand fill, so fill credit to him.

I can't understand why Harry has an issue with him, unless his behaviour has changed,as like you i thought he spoke very well and thanking the trainer who has and will continue to support him was well thought.

You'd know about being dropped but at least he got more than 50m from the birdcage!  😉

In my opinion he gracefully dismounted and had the gumption to hold onto the horse unlike some apprentices who panic and let go.

But that aside - it would be a bit churlish of Harry to have an issue unless he has short memory of his own early career!

What happened some of these jocks not get Vaxxed or something?

Meeting News

Tauranga Meeting now Sunday 20 March

Due to a high number of riders being unavailable to ride this weekend the Racing Tauranga meeting scheduled for this Saturday will push back 24 hours to Sunday. This will enable some riders from Trentham to also ride at Tauranga on Sunday. The seven races at Tauranga remain open until 9am this morning (Wednesday).

I thought this would have happened a week ago and affected the Derby meeting.

This doesn't help either:
