It is the notion that wet trackers, set for a grass meeting with soft/heavy ground, will happily switch to a track where they will be required to produce 22 sec final sectionals. The Cambridge trials being cancelled and traininers heading toward grass surfaces with their charges is a fairly conclusive consensus on the useage and future of these surfaces for racedays and trail meetings. 1 Quote
