  1. Allegedly.
  2. Correct. Speaking of that they haven't fixed it. Well not for horses. Still up hill and tight. The Derby field will fight for position.
  3. Why don't they just put a longer arm on the lure? Or do the dogs not follow the lure?
  4. Foud Mmmm must have a closed top. Found the new chopper pad.
  5. LOL @curious couldn't find the 2m litre water tank. Must be all underground.
  6. I just thought there was a lot of irony in that photo.
  7. Sort of but shallow and very fine. Zoom the picture of the core and you can see the roots.
  8. The track had obviously been cored after the KM. No peat or moss in the cores I picked up.
  9. You've obviously absolutely no idea about statistics. That's why I can't take you seriously even if your motivation was genuine.
  10. I was really surprised how much sand was in the top layer. Seemed to be all sans.
  11. He's no more 1.75m (5ft 9in) than I'm 7ft 2in! Unless of course he was wearing his Elton John platforms.
  12. Ellerslie staff coring the track on Waitangi Day 2024.
  13. While on the topic of diversion I'm surprised the following wasn't titled "Ex-Horse Trainer..." Photo: RNZ / Nick Monro The Auckland businessman facing charges of assaulting a police officer and obstructing another last July can now be named. Leo Molloy appeared briefly in the Auckland District Court on Monday morning, where his lawyer, Quentin Duff, said name suppression could lapse. Molloy had previously pleaded not guilty to the two charges. He was remanded at large until his next court date in April. The businessman was in the running to be Auckland's next mayor in 2022, before deciding to pull out of the race. His decision came after polls suggested he would not win the election.
  14. What did NZTR need to say about Darren Weir?
  15. You haven't normalised the data for other variables.
  16. Life support comes in many different guises nowadays.
  17. Why? It's a cost of doing business. The reality is very few businesses in NZ are on top of employment law.
  18. Really I don't get what point you and @the galah are trying to make. Whatever happened to the principle of minding your OWN business and managing what YOU can control? If HRNZ did more of that then we'd be better off. Going anywhere near the Yole business draws negative attention to NZ racing when the general public couldn't give a rats arse about Tasmanian Harness racing.
  19. Why? HRNZ have no jurisdiction over what happens in Tasmania. Why associate HRNZ with their issues?
  20. Yep Greyhounds are prone to the injury and I'm sure some trainers have more than others.
  21. Why the hell would HRNZ have any desire or even a remote reason of commenting on negative news from Tasmania? Can you give me even one good reason?
  22. Just as much as the big guy. They're both pointing elbows at each other and blaming the other.
  23. @the galah and @aquaman - who actually started this latest clash? UNRWA Cannot Operate Without Hamas – No Wonder It Has a Neutrality Problem – The Daily Sceptic dailysceptic.org In the Telegraph, Paul Nuki explores the unholy alliance between the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) and the Palestinian group Hamas amid revelations that UNRWA employees have been involved in supporting or participating in terrorist activities. Here’s an excerpt: Worth reading in full. Stop Press: It took the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women nearly eight weeks to condemn the appalling rape and sexual assault carried out by the terrorists on October 7th, as Camilla Tominey reminds us in a scathing piece for the Telegraph. Stop Press 2: In the Telegraph, MP Mike Freer’s recent resignation over death threats resonates with Stephen Pollard’s own experience, underscoring the economic and personal toll of Islamist intimidation.
