  1. It's not about the $2 it's about the $1,000.
  2. Why would I know? But isn't the answer obvious? You are aggregating and going over the limit. As I said you are aggregating two vouchers that takes you over the limit. They don't know who the vouchers belong to. You could be doing what they used to do in the old days when laundering money through the TAB. You are laundering money for someone else for a fee.
  3. No. But try and withdraw or deposit that amount with a bank on a regular basis and not be asked questions. Then what is it to do with? The DIA have pushed it as well. Perhaps they have but at the end of the day it is an issue between TAB NZ and Government legislated compliance issues. So a marketing budget. Now whose job is it and where does the money come from? TAB NZ (less funding of HRNZ), HRNZ (less stakes) or the Clubs (less stakes)? Whose job is it? TAB NZ has abdicated responsibility to the codes. So is it HRNZ or the Clubs?
  4. Charged with administering a prohibited substance on raceday. Took long enough. The substance could be anything but will be interesting to see if a positive was returned from the samples taken. Or are they relying on other evidence? Johnny Nevits is cleared to race.
  5. http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/other-sports/127723872/harness-trainer-charged-with-administering-substance-to-horse-on-race-day?cid=app-android
  6. ATC is going through some internecine warfare amongst members. Such is the life of clubs. The RNZYS is having the same problem with the America's Cup. ATC may have turned it around. If they don't at least you have to give them credit for giving it a go. BTW I don't buy into bullshit that their assets are industry assets and every harness stakeholder has a claim to them.
  7. Check out the filings on Incorporated Societies website. Aren't they on the ATC website? No. If I recall correctly they also paid out more in stakes than the funding they received from HRNZ. Again go to the Incorporated Societies website for the full set of accounts. Note I said their racing activity shows a profit. I posted this previously.
  8. But that isn't something that Harness controls it is a TAB NZ issue and Government rules. What's wrong with confirming your identity when depositing or withdrawing large sums of money? What sort of incentives? Free hot dogs and ice creams? Where's the marketing budget come from? Less Stakes?
  9. But you said the debt was sucking money out of Harness Racing? If they can service any debt and they have positive net assets what's the problem? They are in a better position than TAB NZ that had to get bailed out of insolvency by Winnie. With regard to the lack of interest in Auckland Harness racing according to you that is a problem for Harness as a whole. Although it can't be that big a problem for the ATC as they returned a reasonable profit on their racing business.
  10. I thought you didn't bet anymore? So what would you do to address what you perceive to be problems other than change the Government and allow you to bet and win as much as you want?
  11. So there are 74 million white supremacists in the USA?
  12. So you agree. But if you know there are some positive things how come you can't name them?
  13. What mess Brodie? Give us some detail and your erudite analysis instead of slogans. How are they a drain on New Zealand Harness Racing? Does HRNZ have liability tied to ATC debt?
  14. Hasn't Godber been sidelined or put through the Koru Lounge?
  15. That's a Barry Lichter headline. Suggest you have a look at the accounts. From what I can see everything is heading in the right direction.
  16. Last few hours of voting in black out mode. Elephant sitting on 9th but really close Get your vote in for Elephant. Probabeel seems to have made it through.
  17. My apologies.....the commentator made a quip about the horse named Donald Trump Don't you guys know by now that you don't give our @Brodie a sniff of a gap? He'll be through it before you have had time to blink.
  18. What's this got to do with the Invercargill Commentator? Does he have Orange hair?
  19. Come on you can name plenty of them. Note it wasn't me that used the term bread and butter sire in the case of Roc De Cambes. What do you term a B & B sire? One that is comparatively cheap and produces heaps of winnners across average mares. Zed comes to mind. Per Incanto - started out cheap not so much now. Roc de Cambes served 14 mares in 2020, 34 - 2019, 45 - 2018 (Princess Lowry year). From the 2018 crop only 12 have hit the racetrack. Doesn't the market give a good idea of his success?
  20. Stallion Syndrome. Physical and/or mental.
  21. Can't see you logic or join the dots. Auckland Trotting Club are still holding race meetings, returned a good profit last season and are trying new innovations. So ATC is hardly "on its knees". Remind me again when was the last time you said anything positive about a harness meeting in NZ.
  22. No I was defending his right to a fair hearing rather than trial by social media. I also made the point that if HRNZ and NZTR had proper systems in place then it would be impossible to oversell shares in a horse. It isn't the first time and unless they put systems in place it won't be the last time this rort occurs. He was done for fraud. Documents were exchanged via electronic and paper means and loss of property occurred. That's considered mail (wire) fraud in the USA. BTW has he been charged by the Police yet? Regardless what does it have to do with alleged EPO use?
  23. Well it didn't escalate the first time it was published on Social Media over TWO years ago. What's different this time?
  24. But those two G1 winners weren't spectacular. Vin De Dance for one. Plenty of bread and butter stallions produced more Stakes winners and better performers.
