  1. Pray tell what should she have done and when?
  2. What?! Before a race? Someone else's horse? If so the Stewards would be "right up ya" nowadays.
  3. Yeah but the mugs keep signing up. I prefer to follow my own tips.
  4. Are the Stipes are onto it here and in OZ?
  5. I haven't seen the race but surely there wasn't some OZZIE Team Driving?
  6. Personally I don't take any notice of these mega punter clubs. The people doing the selections aren't exactly like knowledgeable investment managers!!!
  7. You assume anyone is interested in your failed betting strategies. Laying a favoured horse isn't exactly "inside info" - is it?
  8. Great post. I've always found that there is more to some than there appears. The NZ Racing crowd are quick to bring down their own. The OZZIES are the opposite. Recently I experienced someone denigrating a revered and very successful Trotting trainer of many years ago. Essentially they were extrapolating an anecdote they had heard from a friend's friend and trying to redefine that persons life. Those that say Showgate may have been better with a different trainer assume that she was worse with the one she had. You could argue that the tough regime made her tougher.
  9. Or herd immunity attained via natural (Covid-19 infection) and artificial (vaccination) means?
  10. Thursday, 18 November 2021 High-profile harness racing court case delayed again By Chris Barclay and Barry Clarke A harness racing figure scheduled to appear in the district court tomorrow has had their case pushed back again. Photo: Getty Images Court proceedings involving a high-profile Canterbury harness racing figure caught up in a major police probe into corruption and drug use in the industry has been delayed again. The person was scheduled to appear in the Christchurch District Court tomorrow, but the hearing has been tentatively pushed back to February 11. The person had also been expected to appear in court on July 16. Suppression orders prevent the person being identified. The charges faced are also subject to suppression orders. But The Star is aware a key part of the court proceedings is a bid by the defendant, and others in the industry also before the courts, to stop the police evidence being handed over to racing investigators. Their lawyers have been arguing points of law to stop the evidence accessed by the Racing Integrity Board, which has the power to prosecute under racing rules. The penalties can be severe, including lengthy bans from the sport. Judge Raoul Neave. But a decision on whether that evidence can be accessed by the RIB remains with Judge Raoul Neave who has yet to release his judgement after lengthy legal arguments. The police investigation, dubbed Operation Inca, charged 13 people in September, 2018, following raids on harness racing stables in Canterbury and Auckland. It was overseen by the National Organised Crime Group. It involved undercover officers and electronic surveillance and focused on alleged drug use and race fixing. Five individuals have been dealt with and the remaining defendants are still before the courts. “The investigation is currently awaiting a number of judicial decisions on the remaining defendants,” a police spokesperson told The Star.
  11. I made ONE spelling mistake Giuseppe just one spelling mistake and they call me...
  12. What do you want? Someone to moderate every single post against some standard of someone's (yours?) choosing? Isn't that censorship? You are quick to forget that you have been allowed posts in the Dog forum that wouldn't have been allowed to be posted elsewhere. But it's a free world and as yet neither you or the Brodies have been banned from it.
  13. Bumped another price up though. 😉
  14. An ellipsis is only 3 fullstops. Also you shouldn't trail off (I.e. use an ellipsis) in the middle of a sentence. Definitely doesn't have an 'a'... Definately is definitely NOT a word. You're welcome.
  15. Shit you are looking for a tip from @Brodie - good luck!
  16. Depends if you wear them or not. But that said is it Jockies, Jockey's or Jockey's? Regardless it is rider's plural and I'm taking the piss. But that might be beyond you Pasta.
  17. Really?! When was the last time you posted something positive about racing? In any code? So you want me to ban @Brodie for what? Having an opinion? I've allowed you to post whatever you wanted to whenever you wanted to. Do you want me to censor posts based on your world view? Perhaps the reason NZ Racing is in its death throes is because participants no longer are brave enough to say what they think without fear of retribution.
  18. Harness Dream a Bettor chance for Purdon at Breeders Crown Nathan Purdon is confident about Amazing Dream’s chances in the 4YO Mares Breeders Crown final. Picture: Stuart McCormick By Adam Hamilton 12:31pm • 19 November 2021 Comments It is up to Nathan Purdon to continue a fantastic family strike rate in the Breeders Crown on Saturday night. Purdon’s champion father, Mark, has been as influential as any trainer in the history of the Breeders Crown with a staggering 10 victories. But some time out of the game to recharge, the travel restrictions of Covid-19, a new timeslot for the Breeders Crown (back from August to November) and a change in business model from Mark has presented Nathan with the best two of his four winning chances in the quest for his Breeders Crown triumph. In the past, Mark Purdon and/or his partner Natalie Rasmussen, would have been in Victoria chasing the riches. Now it’s Nathan taking two of the stars of Mark and Natalie’s “All Stars” barn – Bettor Twist and Amazing Dream – to Melton. His other two finalists, American Dealer and Amore Vita, have come from other Kiwi trainers. “So many NZ trainers have been such a big part of the Breeders Crown over the years so it’s a series that means a lot to me,” Purdon said. “I’m lucky to have some really nice horses going into the finals. “The best part of it is, I think I’ve got all four of them as good as I can possibly have them, they’ve all peaked at the right time and are all winning chances.” Most would say megastar three-year-old filly Bettor Twist is Purdon’s best winning hope, but not in his books. “I’d have to say I’m most confident about Amazing Dream (4YO Mares final) of the quartet,” he said. “What she did last week in defeat was amazing. She really is something else. If the race had been another 400m last week, I’m sure she’d have won and she gets that extra 400m this week. “Anthony (Butt) will drive her aggressively again, he has to from that draw, but she’ll just keep coming. They’ll need to be good to hold her out this week.” Bettor Twist is the favourite in a strong edition of the Pacing Fillies final. Picture: Stuart McCormick Bettor Twist is favourite in a super strong $200,000 Group 1 3YO Pacing Fillies final and Purdon is in awe of her, but also respectful of the sheer depth of talent in the race. “What a race it is, what a fantastic group of fillies they are,” he said. “I’ve got no doubt Bettor Twist is as good, if not better, than any of them, but it looks like she’ll have to do all the work to win it. She’s ready to do that and is probably good enough to, but to outstay the leader (expected to be Beach Music) then hold-off the swoopers headed by Ladies In Red will take something really special. “We knew she was underdone in those first two defeats, then she was very close to primed last week when she won easily in the finish, but now she’s as good as we can get her. She’s ready to run a mighty race and she’s so tough. It should be a great race.” American Dealer starred during the Queensland Winter Carnival, headlined by his Queensland Derby win, but he’s been winless in five Victorian runs for Purdon. “There’s no doubt it’s been a class rise for him down here, especially against Emma Stewart and Clayton Tonkin’s horses. But it’s just now he’s really come good. His last two runs have been really pleasing and, although he’s not a good track worker, he’s really picked-up at home as well,” Purdon said. “It’s another really strong race, but I’ve changed my mind on him. Two week’s ago I didn’t think he could win the final, now I think he’s a winning chance if he got the right sort of run and the race was run at a strong enough tempo.” Purdon also warned not to judge Amore Vita too harshly for a slightly disappointing second in her semi-final of the 2YO Pacing Fillies series last week. “Chris (Alford) said she just got a bit keen and that took too much out of her for the finish,” he said. “We’ve taken the blinkers off, put the pull-up blinds on and that should help her settle better early, especially from that back row draw. “We haven’t seen her driven for speed yet, but she’s got plenty. I think she’s right in this final if she gets the right sort of luck.”
  19. Don't tell me you are eating plant based fake meat now? There would be a zillion times the chloresterol in your Sunday Big Breakfast than in the jab!
  20. WHO ARE THE MANY SCIENTISTS? POST A LINK. Regardless by focussing on graphene oxide you miss the elephant in the room. The nano-lipids that have NO specific pharmakinetic/toxicity testing. That's what is going inside the cells.
  21. WTF has it got to do with AIDS?! Just a simple explanation would suffice.
  22. Post a link to this irrefutable evidence. Evidence. It contains mRNA encapsulated inside nano-lipids (3 or 4 proprietary) in a solution containing sucrose, cholesterol and saline. ((4-hydroxybutyl)azanediyl)bis(hexane-6,1-diyl)bis(2-hexyldecanoate) (ALC-0315) 2-[(polyethylene glycol)-2000]-N,N-ditetradecylacetamide (ALC-0159) Distearoylphosphatidylcholine (DSPC) Cholesterol Potassium chloride Monobasic potassium phosphate Sodium chloride Dibasic sodium phosphate dihydrate Sucrose Water for injections As for graphene oxide there is no evidence.
  23. FFS @aquamando you have a dark Web account? Some of your site links are from a different planet!
