  1. New name for FU. Smooth Fella.
  2. Thanks, Rangatira. I go shit at Rangiora, much better at Ashburton so my account balance will be happy. I will lose less than I thought ? I need to change my wormer.
  3. I am totally over it. I respect the All-Stars, I really do, but it is a boring procession. I was hoping Gran Chico would run down Jesse Duke but it is not to be. The All-Stars can be 3 and 4 wide, sit parked, face the howling wind and still win. They are not just at another level they are in a different stratosphere. They never seem to go through a lean year, let alone a dry patch, they always seem to be miles better than the rest. The reality is they are and it is boring. There are no matchups. There is no anticipation. Globe might be excited about Majestic Man but his horse is a rarity. It is dull for me and I don't apologise for saying it.
  4. Take anything I tip out with a grain of salt as I have been too busy recently. In fact, I won't tip anything but I would like to know if CP is following his money tomorrow The Guild? Especially with the Kerr scratching and a Hanrahan favourite in the race too.
  5. I get a bit sick in the stomach when I hear Mick Guerin say that getting for 4th is like a win for connections as they know they are not going to win. It is a sad state of affairs when this applies to 80% of the field.
  6. 5 wins for All-Stars. 1 for Canterbury non-All-Stars 3 for North Island. 0 for South of the Waitaki The North Island did well all things considered. Very well. Southern horses had a few placings. All-Stars close to absolute domination if Princess Tiffany pulled it off after a hard run and Enhance Your Calm was massive after its break and I believe it would have won by lengths if it hadn't. I expect big things from that horse. The Canterbury horses were awful really, shut out quite a lot in the placings too. Makes you wonder how powerful the Canterbury horses outside the All-Stars really are when they could only fill 8 out of the 27 placings available. Maybe that is the true myth?
  7. Brodie will always take a hit to get the win no matter what....
  8. But with Brodie on it would have won by 3 and we all know it.
  9. If they don't have a 'lightbulb' moment at the time then the stipes do nothing. They really are lazy sometimes.
  10. Well, they do have their favourites. Not many, but a few. Do I need to name them? ?
  11. I try to think I am not one prone to extreme reactions but it will be interesting to see what is said / done about this inconsistency over the start of race 2. If nothing is done, then it is time to not worry anymore about what they do as they are just a closed shop of protectionism.
  12. I have no respect for him. None. He has had enough chances to prove his worth but his mistakes and inconsistencies are embarrassing.
  13. What a load of absolute f@#king bullshit to call the second take of race 2 a fair start. Especially compared to the first attempt. What a joke. Time for a new starter.
  14. 'General Disorganisation' as the cause of the false start in Race 2. What a load of bollocks. RIU make it up as they go.
  15. I will say it....I just hope this day is not a procession for the All Stars.
  16. C'mon Brodster, give us your tip on how many wins the All-Stars get today. I am sure you have thought about it intensely.
  17. Bollocks, my bet is you are old enough to have got drunk at twiggers... only if you are on an A Lowe trained runner... Rarified air out there....what does it smell like?
  18. ...and freezing. Mile rates of 2.14.8 for the 1980 metres coming up. Flag is so old he will relate to that lol and Brodie will be happy because he will be fooled into thinking that he is watching a maiden trot at Oamaru so will start punting... Thank F*%k I won't have to listen to 'on the marker pegs' all day. Oh, just dawned on me...'those off the marker pegs' will be the sentence for the day. I will be the one wishing I was watching a maiden trot from Oamaru...
  19. Where are you reading this?
  20. Got bored with Auckland trots so thought I would test Brodie's theory that everyone would be scared off by the All-Stars. 9 races X 12 horses so 108 horses in total which means 65 Canterbury based horses against 43 from outside the area. That is not bad considering the so-called intimidating All-Stars are on their home track. 21% are from the North which is a fair amount and the 14 from the south of the Waitaki must be a record but I am guessing about that. Disclaimer: It is Friday night after a big week so the accuracy of figures is not guaranteed.
  21. I remember a Canasta King as a 2-year-old or is my memory fading?
  22. A 3-year-old filly to boot. Super impressive. You don't see something tucked up on the rails with about 500 to run and then win by 8. U May Collectish.
  23. So are you with your tipping. ?
  24. You lot, apart from Globe, are hard to please. No wonder they called it off as there is more chance of race fixing in the fog...team driving....blood spinning.... more than 10 strikes of the whip.... a few quick party pills....and that is just in the back straight... ?
  25. I am so desperate punting wise that when I saw the Regan Todd trained horse 'Mila Kunis' in a field the other day I thought I would be into her with all guns blazing even though I knew nothing about the horse. When she was scratched I felt like Newmarket with a pocket full of cash on an empty Manchester Street corner.....nothing to back whichever way I turned. Gutted. So if you have a tip for tomorrow at Rangiora (my least favourite track) could you help me out. Oh Mila...you make me as unruly as One over da Skye.....I will always gallop for you...
