Interesting thread. If we all went around saying whatever we like there would be a war on every street corner. Israel Folau is a fool for not realising the probable impact of his comments and the disrepute it brings to his faith. He is more than entitled to oppose gay marriage in Australia as he did but when he starts spouting what he did he is getting into dangerous territory. I just wonder how such a religious fella feels about his wife doing a past fashion shoot like this below. Hope he has a word to her or is she going to hell with the rest of us? I really don't know how you come to that conclusion. At the bigger meetings, the All Stars win most of the group races so if that suits your betting style that is lucky. The others are trying but are generally not good enough. You should bet at Auckland where the prize money is the similar to Cup Day in the lesser races. I can't be told trainers are not trying up there. I imagine you don't bet on gallops either as there are so many variables (excuses), far more than harness. It is hard enough to get a win let alone mucking around pretending a horse is good enough to pick and choose.

I hear preservation is more apt than perseverance.
