Yes you are very good at creating a negative But lets look at it positively 300 horses at $120 month = $36,000 x 12 = $432,000 they'll be making money with trials, rent, etc Don't think there will be any need for extra staff as the amount of training tracks to be maintained have been reduced. I believe machinery required is included in the original contract, I might be wrong but think not. -
Where did I say (apart from the 27th March) that I was OK with track conditions - twisting the facts yet again tosser Apart from the 27th March we have not had a decent track since 1st day of NZ Cup Carnival Have you not watched the racing at Riccarton NOW TAKE NOTE OF THIS COMMENT - UNLIKE SOME MOANERS I DO NOT MAKE COMMENTS DUE TO OUR HORSES FORM WE WIN RACES ON ALL SORTS OF TRACK CONDITIONS as I am sure you have noticed It’s 28 winners and I have no doubt one of them MOANING has a better strike rate for sure. SO WHAT!! They got the track to suit on Saturday and their strike rate was shit as it was on 27th March👑
-
Of course it needs to be irrigated, even you are not that thick. It is the constant over use of irrigation that is proving a problem. IMO there was nothing wrong with the track 27th March, so they listened to the moaners and put plenty of water on the track leading in to last Saturdays meeting. the biggest moaner of all had a shocker of a day so what's the excuse now.

When the rain comes that area will have plenty of growth and the grass will grow green, it's like that every year but maybe because you are looking to criticize you have just noticed. The areas you indicate are a good 30 to 40 meters from where the horses are racing, but that's typical of you. I don't have any issue with the Riccarton track, it's their use of irrigation I have issues with, 28 winners there this season ( going by CJC analysis)

I’m no soil expert but at the previous meeting there was nothing wrong with the racing surface. All too often comments on Riccarton are based on how a team performs. Riccarton is a great firm track and horses don’t jarr up, well, well conditioned ones don’t and we should know we race the most horses there. I know of one trainer moaning about last meeting but I’m positive that was form related!! AGAIN When irrigated close to racing it is a lottery, possibly because of the Poa, and that is evidenced by track surfaces since and including the 2nd day of NZ Cup Carnival up until last week where a broken pipe on Friday stopped water being applied the day before racing IMO this made the surface ideal for racing, fortunately

Read and comprehend What you constantly refer to as dust -it is not!!! It is predominantly the sand and soil they use to patch the track Refer to your photo turning in to the straight where you use two arrows pointing to isolated “dust” patches Stop being a tosser!! You have no idea what you are talking about. Last meeting they irrigated and had rain but couldn’t irrigate Friday there was nothing wrong with the track You weren’t there to see it were you but you think you know it all tosser
-
I didn’t say it was perfect but it was considerably better than it has been. The track has been crap since the first day of Cup Week IMO I am happy to put that on record BERNARD SAUNDRY is well aware of my opinion on how this track has been presented of late At least it played fair and punters were happy with that and by the way we have trained 25 winners at Riccarton thus far this season so unlike some trainers it’s not because we are not winning races that I have this opinion
-
You are a tosser!! There was nothing wrong with the track at all it was a good 3 - Fair and safe to all Don't know where you get your info from, did you attend the race day at all? I know several good punters thought it was the best presented track since the first day of Cup Week, they invested heavily with confidence the track was playing fair and had good returns I know it’s your mo to knock Riccarton all the time and at times I am also very critical- only when they over irrigate though. Heavy rain and wet tracks don’t bother us but inconsistent over and bad irrigation leaves the track with massive bias away from the shortest way home. Hopefully they learnt from last week when they couldn’t irrigate on Friday and produced a very good and fair track
-
I have no input they don’t listen to me but I know others have influence, they must do the track has been suss since middle day of NZ Cup week As far as irrigation goes I don’t believe they should irrigate after Wednesday for Saturday so I certainly don’t have any influence there do I !!!! Once again you prove what an idiot you are by your last comment I certainly had nothing to do with breakage of irrigation pipe was I pleased it happened ECSTATIC would describe my thinking
-
Chief stipe You talk some shyte The races were put off today because the horse put its foot in a hole, the track was not slippery Your comments about Riccarton are also wrong, again. We had some rain on Wednesday, they also irrigated on Wednesday 5mm and they irrigated Thursday 5MM and the intention was to irrigate Friday but a broken pipe just inside the rail prevented this, thank goodness as I and others believe the racing was the fairest it has been since the first day off NZ Cup Week. I will say it again, Riccarton is the best firm track in NZ, horses can win from anywhere, as they did yesterday. I trust with good weather we will now get a similar surface to race on at the 10th April meeting, yesterday proving it did not need to be irrigated Friday Five of the nine winners paid under $3.40 with another winner paying $4.40 several people I know had a very good day as I am sure many punters did. So the better supported horses did the job!! That doesn't happen that often.
