  1. I'v told you before Clarkie, its Wanganui not Whanganui.
  2. I'm of the opinion a person that is 15yrs or younger should be totally under the control and power of their parents. At that age its a physical and mental impossibility to be able to make an informed opinion. Why you might ask, because they are still children no matter their perceived maturity. The State has no business pocking its ever growing snout in private matters. Its the same with this current bullshit of gender ID, just another matter where the State should be told to butt out.
  3. Thanks for the offer of more information, but I feel on overload with all the info I have now. Have studied this subject for 18 mths now and my mind has not wavered re the hoax that the China virus is.
  4. I think the State has already taken over regarding abortion and young school girls. I think young girls via their schools can get abortions without consulting parents. Correct me if i'm wrong, but that's my understanding.
  5. You know, the off loading of the NZTAB to an offshore provider cannot come fast enough. Complete amateurs to say the least. Exorbitant takeouts that are strangling punters leaving only the addicted still in the game. Idiots and parrots fronting the TV and calling the races. I find the mute button is a must if you do not want to be driven insane with the babble that comes out of trackside. I know i'm being ungenerous but i cannot help it.

    Amazing Chase

Just had a thought, maybe they should rename it, The Amazing Rort. Be no problem then as everyone would have their eyes open.

    Amazing Chase

The whole concept is crap, and nothing but a waste of industry funds. Its not even fair on the contestants. Because its spread over 30 minutes it means the conditions vary, ie, daylight for the first runners, and lights for the last runners, not to mention showers in between first and last. These novelty events do nothing for the sport other than stroke the ego's of a privileged few. They will go broke quickly putting this rubbish out there as i'm sure punters couldn't give a toss about these joke events.
  8. About time the medical profession stood up for the truth. Covid is one big bucketful of misinformation and downright lie's.
  9. Give Ralph Manning a medal, staunch and proud as is Kevin Myers. Why give interviews to a bunch of cretins that will stab you in the back if they do not like what they hear. Fook them I say.
  10. What a pathetic answer. Kevin Myers is a horse trainer you idiot, he is not answerable to the punters, or to the overrated talking heads on trackside. Thats just shit served up by a petulant trackside that they think are the beginning and end of horse and dog racing. They should feel honored and grateful that any trainer gives them an interview at anytime. Trainers do not have to give interviews, just as trackside talking dummy's do not have to train horses. So if Kevin Myers is kind enough to give interviews, or for that matter any trainer, then whats said needs to be taken at face value, and its not for trackside to throw their toys out of the cot and try to destroy the interviewee because they didn't like what they heard. All trainers should of blacklisted trackside after that shameful affair. Kevin stayed staunch and has never given them oxygen again.
  11. Go Kevin, one of racing's greatest, shoved it up Adrian Clarks where the sun don't shine. Staunch to his owners, and a man of integrity. Trackside did themselves a hit job and lost, now they interview themselves and nobody listens. Get rid of trackside and their talking heads. Sell it to an Australian broadcaster and do us all a favor.
  12. The single most important thing that can be done is to reduce the takeout for the punter, you know, the life blood of racing. From that one single change growth can at least be given a chance. The punter is the most important cog in racing, it begins and ends with the punter. And don't give me the bullshit about owners or breeders being at the top. Until the racing industry realizes this, then everything will continue downhill, because the punter is the life blood of racing for all codes. Reduce the takeouts to be competitive with international operators, and start rebuilding the customer base, then you can start thinking all the other must do's.
  13. Maybe time for a relook at the Turnwald case, similarity's here are apparent. In view of modern testing getting down to such a low threshold no reasonable person can avoid cross contamination all the time. Especially with the prevalence of P in todays society.
  14. Have left message on their site telling them what useless individuals they are. Recommend others do the same. They are tossers and tree huggers with too much time on their grubby hands.
  15. Give an inch, take a foot springs to mind. Until people realise that bowing to the demands of social media, and woke ideas just does not work, then the cause is lost, the slippery slope becomes unsalvageable. Once you show weakness and do not defend your position, then I'm afraid you will lose. Racing bodies and others that are under attack from the loony left need to stand firm and go on the offensive. They need to understand the end game for wokes, and that is total annihalation and destruction of the target, there is no middle ground, and it matters not one jot how far you bend. Stand firm is the answer, do not enter into dialog with wokes as that gives them oxygen. Do the improvements, but for your own reasons.
  16. I'm afraid the wokes are taking over. As each year goes by, more wokes take up residence, and normal people slip out the back door. In ten years wokes will control the entire west, and normal societies like Asia will control the world. By this time the wokes will turn on each other devouring all in sight starting with common sense.
  17. We need to realise we are dealing with leadership within the Greyhound industry that has a track record of corruption, deceit, and the telling of downright lie's. The mob in Petone, and i do not mean the workers, but rather those in charge have not been interested in the betterment of the sport of Greyhound racing, but only of themselves. Its a crying shame that a historical wonderful sport that is the racing of these beautiful dogs has been allowed to be dragged through the mud like this. As for the RIU, they too have a track record that is unsavoury to put it mildly, dead bodies in motels, and the backdooring of trainers wives. They run a snitch line which tells you a lot about their character and morals. As for the JCA, what can one say, failed bludging lawers sucking on the tit of addicted pokie money consistently being inconsistent. Once upon a time before greed and corruption took hold, Greyhound racing was great fun for all the family especially at places such as Timaru, Chertsy, Solway, Tokoroa, Rotorua etc now all closed for racing. Then it was for ribbons and a few bob and the whole family would partake on any given Sunday afternoon, always a few beers to be had in the shed bar. But times have changed, now its all about money greed and corruption. I finished with engines in 2017 when the morally defunct RIU tried to drug test me one morning before racing had started under the guise of health and safety. I told them to get f#cked literally. For that i received 1yr suspension and $3500 fine of which i paid. They the JCA did me a favor, so I say thankyou for tossing me out of an industry that now resembles nothing like it once was. The writing is on the wall im afraid, times are achanging, and the industry has painted themselves into a corner.
  18. Yes, thats part of the problem, poor to zero leadership. And that includes all 3 codes.
  19. Just goes to show how far the Greyhound industry has come regards animal welfare. Soon you will not be able to shoot rabbits because of mental woke dickheads.
  20. They have done plenty, problem is, this Gov has an agenda, and thats too shut down dog racing regardless of facts. Garbage greens and back room deals spring to mind.
  21. Agree, and I thought the ride on Probabeel wasn't that great, thought he went too early.
  22. Yes and in those days the TAB hold was considerable. Being oncourse only, tote turnover was about $40,000. The tote bus was always parked at the Nth end off the grandstand where it was quiet dark from memory. In retrospect, it was money for jam.
  23. Also the money machine at Addington which was inside the main stand was gas cut opened one night and relieved of many thousands of dollars early this century. Again nobody caught.
  24. The dogs at QE11 were robbed at gunpoint about 1989. Got away with the entire TAB hold oncourse. Never caught.
