  1. And don't forget, Splater Duck.
  2. Yes, I looked very closely at the replay freeing the picture at the moment of impact, and it looked very bad for the duck, and whats sad about this is, ducks mate for life, and I fear one of them lost their life's mate. Cruel lot this RIU and their cohorts in the NZGRA. Nothing but contempt for animal welfare. Sweep anything negative under the carpet, just as they bury dog deaths on the track by editing the replays, sanitizing the window for the watching audience. Very sad.
  3. I still want to know how the ducks fared. It didn't look good on the replays. Come on you useless tossers in the RIU, how the fook are they?, did the oncourse Vet attend to them?, get your fingers out of your arses. Duck lives matter.
  4. I thought it opened up, lots of kick back. It was the undoing of Probabeel down on the fence. My horse benefited by the soft going. Wider draws an advantage towards the end.
  5. The parasitic RIU are funded on the back of addicted pokie gamblers. About 20 mil a yr. They are nothing but a bunch of co#k sucking bludgers staffed by lowlifes and failures. And thats being kind to them.
  6. My info says 90% rain till 10 am Melbourne time. After that down to 10%.
  7. Just looked at the Melbourne rain radar and it tells me not over yet.
  8. Last time it rained at the Valley when racing was in progress, and from memory that was about two months ago, it opened up very quickly. But whether this will be the case in the 2nd is a moot point. Suppose it will depend on how much rain falls this afternoon. I'm banking on the Manikato which is the last tonight being a very heavy track, and for that reason have backed Bella Vella at 12's, now into 11's.
  9. Interesting runner in race 2 tonight at the Valley, should be worth a bet. Feel The Rush 3rd in the NZ Oaks to Jennifer Eccles. Loves the mud and presently paying 41's. Distance will suit. I got 71's yesterday.
  10. Sir Dragonet with Glen Boss in the saddle. Am picking a very heavy track well and truly churned up. 12's at the moment.
  11. I didn't, was watching the British Open Snooker Championship between the Aussie Robertson and Jud Trump. Far more interesting.
  12. Agree with all of the above. NZ racing has lost its soul. None of the presenters appeal, and show has zero chance. Get On is the yardstick for me. Once the decision was made to drop Weigh In and it disappeared from the television screens it lost its last chance. Digging it up now will not work, and only the diehards will be the audience.
  13. Never mind Thrilling Tucker, I want to know what the vets report is into the condition of the ducks. Here they are minding their own business in their home, and a bunch of crazy dogs smash into them at 60kms an hr. Stuff the punters, ducks lives matter.
  14. Must add, what a great race it turned out to be.
  15. Believe it or not, it was my first pick in the race. I have tremendous respect for the jock who rode it, and being a 3 horse race I thought tactics would dominate the event. Never in my wildest dreams did I think he would be trapped 3 wide the entire journey, but you can get away with that at Caulfield, and clearly the best stayer in the race. Unfortunately if I had waited I could of got 8's 10 minutes before the start. The horse looked tremendous in its parade.
  16. I backed the maiden with a freebet, unfortunately only got 6's
  17. Been saying this since the beginning. Unfortunately NZ is run by stupid people, and most of the people are even more stupid. NZ will soon be out of step with the most other countries, living behind closed borders and a screwed economy. Vietnam leads the world in the correct response in dealing with the virus if taking a suppression response. Sweden leads the world in the correct response, and that is do nothing other than social distance and common sense, something thats lacking in most Western counties. Brazil which followed the Swedish model is now seeing declining infection rates and a death toll that is declining. They will soon have herd immunity.
  18. Sadly things dont seem to be going to get any better, and we havent heard from the CEO Mr Holden for such a long time And you won't here from him, far to busy with other matters. This is what you get when you hire a professional CEO that does not know one end of a horse from the other. It was the same with the dogs, bludgers the lot of them.
  19. Agree with all you say. I would go even further and say, this Labour Gov is the worst in history and will sink this country. They have mishandled the virus completely, have failed on every promise they made, and are made up of radical commies and tree huggers.
  20. Because at the time they had no authority to to take one. I was a dog trainer. It was 11am in the morning before the start of racing. I was not drug affected or had been drinking. It was 2016. I proved my case that they had no authority under the rules of racing at that time, Greyhound racing rules. But after spending many thousands of dollars on a very expensive Law firm in Wellington the RIU managed to pull a rabbit out of the hat in that they were able to by pass the rule of the Greyhound Racing Ass through using the 1908 Incorporated Society Act. The Judge hearing the case had no option because of this technicality but to find guilty, and under the law my only recourse was to go to the High Court. I would of won in the High Court of this I was confident, but after 30 years and at my age at the time 67yrs, decided to just pull the pin.
  21. I told the RIU when they attempted to drug test me to get f#cked. End result 12 months outed. Pleaded not guilty and went through JCA hearing, and because they rorted the whole affair was found guilty. Had the option of taking it to the High Court, but cost would of been $30,000 plus, so decided to retire after 30 odd years as a LP. They will certainly use my case in any sentence handed out. 22. Yes, they sent me email telling me i will need to get verified again if i wanted to be able to withdraw. Now that i remember, they asked me to photo my Visa debit card blocking the middle 6 digits and to send it via email which i did. Within about 15 hrs it was verified. Freephone for Sportsbet is 0061 8 8989 3000
  23. I started with Beteasy 2 months ago. Went through all the verification hassles as you do only to find Sportsbet have taken over. Had to repeat verification process again for Sportsbet, but did find it wasn't too hard. Just photographed my passport and sent it as an email. Had no trouble ringing them on their free number of which I used several times. They sent me many emails letting me no about the takeover including the link to the Sportsbet app, had no trouble downloading it onto my android phone. I'm a shocker when it comes to technology, and can barely use my smartphone, but did manage without any outside help. So far I have not withdrawn because my only reason opening the account was to bet on the US election. Could not get a bet on it here with the NZ TAB. Have looked at the odds they offer on racing and find they are far superior across all codes especially the gallops compared to the NZ TAB. If my bet on the US election comes off, I will have a substantial amount of money to withdraw, so that will be interesting. Have found Sportsbets webpage easy to navigate as I did with Beteasy. My opinion, far more informative than the NZ one. And I am not an employee, but rather a disgruntled punter sick of the short odds on offer here.
