I wonder if a few of the runners in the Telegraph will have beefies with them in their boxes today? G1 racing requires one to pull out all stops.

But they didn't cheat did they? They had a derby horse sharing a paddock with some beefies the night before the derby , a totally normal thing for any stable to do with horses, particularly heading into a G1. So why would anyone want them to fail? I'm inferring if they were caught cheating, not the completely innocent totally understandable normal course of events that went on at the O'Sullivan barn. Of course I'm one of the persons suffering from jealousy and tall poppy syndrome, cause I only wish I had one good enough to stick in the beefies paddock!

Handy excuse that bad egg one isn't it? In the Waller case , what organisation of that magnitude is going to let someone bad egg them to that extent i.e. the Junoob case same must go for TA if that is the case of course.

If they are found to have cheated , i think everyone will want them to fail.

Didnt the feed company take the hit for one of the those? The Junoob one was an errant employee or something like that wasn't it? A morphine droplet, that sounds good. So someone has had to drop it in there who would do that?

Rubbish , your idol worship of the stable is making you see things. Hopefully this mess is all sorted out and their innocent and importance to NZ Racing is thrust back into the limelight where it belongs. Where would we be without them?

Throw the book at em! Drugs in sport disgust me, watch all the apologetics come out of the woodwork for the stable. If it was anyone else they (riu & media)wouldn't be looking for wriggle room. Will all their horses in Group races be pre race tested tomorrow?

Exactly, she might also have a number of slow ones, that can happen and can be significantly magnified when youre in a small stable .

Agree on the mares, not so sure on TA keeping blood in the country , I'd prefer to see a greater spread of the top bloodstock in the country than what there currently is. Also I'm not convinced TA are keeping anything in the country the Australians don't want, i.e. they usually get what they want.

HAve you thought about giving her a call and telling her where she is going wrong? Better still why don't you go to the sales and buy her a few Savabeels for her to train?

Yes I know, my statement is obviously based on the potential of a number of runners which I think are quite exciting. The KM will be a larger field so obviously more depth, but which horses cause you to get excited in the KM 2yo? You'd have to think the Sires Produce will be a helluva a race if everything goes there in the 2yo category.

I think most of Fillies & Mares races still hold up to BT form, which is something to be hopeful for the future.

The calendar is responsible for that and to a degree the KM also. I think we might be seeing a couple of really nice ones on Saturday, well I hope so. Lets face it , its just a continuation of where Black Type racing in this country has been heading for a while.

Agree, but given the KM its still a fairly interesting race, despite the KM being a bigger field and with all the hype and hoopla that goes with it, I don't expect the field to be much better than this.

The Wellesley looks an interesting race this week with Titled , Ansu and the TA horse all lining up. I thought both Titled and Ansu were impressive at their first starts.
