  1. It is certainly a major drawcard to the sale are you silly enough to think it isn't?
  2. Note that it is slightly easier to get stakes' winners in New Zealand than Australia. This is due to the available number of stakes' races comparative to the active population of racehorses. That said, Ellis still stands LMAO!!!!!
  3. Oh so they could have chased the MM riches? They must be focusing on the KM with those MM horses, is that allowed now?
  4. Don't they like the Aussie riches? Quality of racing there a bit tough?
  5. OK so no runners it is I guess then, I'm sure they'll get there if they up their spend a bit over the next few years.
  6. Why search the internet when you have fanboy close by?
  7. Trouble is they'd screw it up!
  8. Mother was a good one. Would worry me her 2 good performances were at New Ellerslie.
  9. It doesn't matter what you argue. They perform poorly on those days compared to most volunteer country clubs , which is absolutely useless no matter the excuses of once a year racing etc. They have all year to prepare for these days & resources beyond most clubs Dreams and still it looks moderate at best. Take the BGP crowd out of KM night & it looks pretty sick also.
  10. We all know how good they are , but like spending squillions on expensive yearlings it just distorts the local content, TA deserve little applause for what they achieve with the resources they have in NZ. Aus I take my hat off to them it's a level playing field for the resources they have.
  11. I did not think you were this naieve, you really think this stable cdnt have got who they wanted months out , if not it's incredibly poor planning on their behalf ( it isn't they wouldn't be that silly). You really need to evaluate the obsession in 2025 !
  12. You can't be biased if you have a checklist ... doh!
  13. There are plenty & several good ones at that . The real fact of the matter is they don't trust/rate a single kiwi jock apart from the recently retired Bosson.
  14. Why do the dummy NZ jocks bother riding for this outfit? You're going to get ditched for an Aus jock all the time.
  15. It's a given this time of year, the crowds will come no matter what quality of horse you have running. Many a club over emphasizes their success through such meetings.
  16. 99 caught behind... ouch!
  17. Wow , yes it does.
  18. Picking up the small fry. Especially SI. I'm sure they are due a huge day soon.
  19. Fantastic news to hear , long may it continue. It's great to see the track doing the job.
  20. How did he lose that race , can someone explain?
  21. They have struggled at the new Ellerslie for some time. Over 80 starters for 4 winners. Also is there an element of the new prize money catching up, better horses staying not being sold etc?
