  1. Clown show in no position to close all of those. M Report has done next to nothing positive for the NZracing scene.
  2. If they really had motivation to save jumps racing they would have setup one of the unused venues as a focal point for the sport, somewhere that could have given the sport an identity and a home as such. I think the sport has lost all its identity with the changes that have happened over the past few years and it looks like it is put wherever they can fit it. Most of those venues being good winter spots it would have made sense. However you won't get any innovation, thinking outside the box or empathy from any of the lot running the sport so that was never going to happen.
  3. It's working , but you have to give it time.
  4. I'll certainly be watching Hastings, but if you can send me some tips I'll tune in.
  5. You can't put a price on all those expensive yearlings being sold!
  6. Maybe time for another Ruakaka meeting CS, perhaps an extra meeting at Ruakaka , keep racing fans on the edges on their seats!
  7. Incredible how common sense they are across the ditch.
  8. No point in doing so. CS would just make something up about the moon & grass on the day making the horse a kaimanawa pony. You have to let him work out things for himself, self discovery can be very illuminating!
  9. Give the kid 6 months with a month off for good behaviour at "CS Ruakaka Satellite racing venue!"
  10. That's about 10% of how a bloodstock market works, go to the sales and find out. You still haven't found out about the pony race yet , very poor form CS.
  11. Silliest thing you've written in a while CS , bought a few at auction before have you.
  12. If its slow and you paid big $$ for it , it was over valued . Don't get me started on the BS of Bloodstock auctions.
  13. Why would they , they don't want you at their party spoiling the celebrations. They want your idols filling half the field and Go racing & whoever else is silly enough to pay stupid $$ for hyped up bloodstock at the sales there , I'm not sure why this hasn't become apparent to most in the industry.
  14. They have no interest in grass roots ,if you're grass roots get what you can out of it over the next few years , after that you will be gone. As CS has pointed out it isn't sustainable, but they don't care they have very little interest or empathy for the industry.
  15. So true , as far as NZTR are concerned racing in NZ didn't start till today with the Taupo races.
  16. Also not to be taken seriously at all, absolutely clueless and makes CS look cooperative.
  17. and moved to a track they can't get right after spending millions on it. I've said it before the industry is run by clowns, but also the end goals is to only have a few tracks left.
  18. The real issue however is that if it doesn't go well , nothing and I mean nothing will be done about it apart from some BS fob off report, that's why the industry has absolutely no hope of progression, there is no accountability for failure it's just an indicator of Business as Usual in nz racing.
  19. Exactly dull and boring racing from that venue is a constant.
  20. Exactly a couple of red hot favs is what I see.
  21. I'd have thought the question of the week is why do we have 2 x 3yo races (Colts & Fillies) for $40k at Taupo on Wednesday ? One has 5 starters & the other 7 starters. Surely these fields could have been combined ?
  22. In my experience there certainly has been plenty in the past, true given the state of it all that may not be the case this season.
  23. The perfect sprinter, a privilege to be alive to watch her career.
  24. Because it doesn't take a week to make a jumper, probably a number of these horses will have a trial in preparation for the seasons to come.
