Most of the iconic fillies races hold up for quality, I'd venture to say this race and the Cup race are the only races of interest over the entire carnival , some very poor fields and perhaps a reflection of how the SI has been treated in general coming to fruition. In particular I can't recall seeing a worse Canterbury Breeders Stakes field.

The winner looks any sort of horse as well , very impressive & picked up at the sales for a very reasonable $400k I heard mentioned on TS. How do they keep coming up with these bargain buys?

Nothing against The Everest its got its place , especially in an industry that is humming. NZB Kiwi is yet another Karaka Millions ... Yawn. What about the battlers???

Yeah edge of the seat stuff, its got the real feel good factor around it with it being one of the battlers in the industry having a go in Waikato Stud! Hope Entain are helping them with this.

Good point Te Aroha may be improved, Ruakaka is just awful to punt and watch and Ellerslie is showing pretty clear signs its going to end up the same, future looks bright in the Auckland region indeed.

Probably is the best sale for Aus breed 2yos if you look at the catalogue.

I think its available to all punters, it certainly should be available to me considering how my punting has been going. Can't see it getting beat , there is it my tip . Love to see a battlers horse from NZ in this race supported by Entain, as it is they just have to go with the horse has battled to be there angle.

Imagine if Trackside put half the coverage and effort into some local racing build up that they have in the Everest, I'm picking we will see this sort of overhype only on the NZB Kiwi here. I'm already sick of hearing about this race.

The worse part of it all is that despite the work being done at these venues there is no guarantee that these venues are up to coping with their agenda, I'm a broken record but we need all the tracks we can get!

Exactly right, but they have understood that in Aus for years. I just can't see it happening quick enough here , his best line was NZ racing is currently under a "sugar hit" that really sums it up well.
