Well they did can a stayers race to fund some of it. There is way too much going to the top end of racing for Entain involvement to be successful long term IMHO.

A 3 horse field off 4 acceptors in a 2yo race in NP. A 5 horse field at Otaki I. 2yos & SI gets next to nothing.

Why is she not getting hammered at the weights also, plenty of winter horses carry more than 60kg when gap in handicap is that large.

Note that it is slightly easier to get stakes' winners in New Zealand than Australia. This is due to the available number of stakes' races comparative to the active population of racehorses. That said, Ellis still stands LMAO!!!!!
