If these allegations are proven to be true then you would suspect that those involved better start looking for another job. This is the betting public that they have been ripping off and one would think if you have anything left of your industry after these investigations then the last thing you would want is them doing time and them getting their license back. If found guilty let them do the time and find something else in their lives to do . If you want them back into the fold then harness will be finished. You will never have the trust of the public and without the betting public your dead

See at this very moment there’s know difference, these people have been charged but at this very time it is unproven as it has to goes before the courts. Yet the RIU stand them down before they are proven guilty. Cole is under investigation with photos and several sworn affidavits and is unproven at this moment. So where’s the difference, both unproven at this very moment. Some are stood down and Cole is not

I think at the moment the Association is allowing 20 per month from Australia . 240 per year imports.. I may be wrong but I think that’s around the number that Gap find homes for each year , so unfortunately all the New Zealand bred dogs are just left sitting waiting with the que getting longer times the amount of pups NZ breeds each year.. This is just a dumping ground for Australian dogs that have been ticketed and the take our money as well. $5,000 entry fee into NZ and they have to be sent back to Australia once they finish racing.

In all my years within the racing I am unaware of anyone who would keep an animal in work when it appears to be carrying an injury. The people I know rest the animal and treat the issue , but the more I hear and read of this it seems it happened 2 to 3 months after the sale of the animal at auction. I don’t know the seller of the horse and I don’t know who the purchaser was and I don’t know the horse but with the timeframes involved to me it looks like this is the purchasers way of reneging on the remaining amount of money still owing to the seller. Very sad and poor attempt to get out of paying what is owed
