When you have a look at his record maybe it’s time he moved aside and give it to someone who knows what they are actually doing. Free for All day tomorrow just hope the days free of false starts. Move on

How is it that they keep employing ex tired old cops who obviously couldn’t cope or foot it in the real world.

The amount of false starts that this guy has created is unbelievable, in all the years I have been involved in harness I have never ever seen so many. Mobile or standing start it dosnt matter just can’t get it right. i had been spoiled for a good 20 years with Jack Mulcahy as the starter and if I remember rightly you could probably count on one hand the amount false starts he had in his working lifetime. This guy would have at least 10 to 15 per season.

  6. Well I have just gone through the 15 races and there appears to be only 1 race where you could say a dog came from behind the leader and that is debatable as it was within 2 to 3 lengths of the leader and parked wide of the leading dog. What is deemed a fair race , I believe were every participant has an equal chance of a winning. Well going by that Otago meeting that certainly was not the case ,the leader wins and the rest of the field go around having shit kicked in their eyes. As regarding dogs losing their footing check out Race 11 Know Flare turning for home losing its footing with its hind legs going sideway. In the audio of that race its sounds like it cries out.??
  7. Yes imagine the state of the dogs behind the leading dog, I would think they would have been covered in shit from head to toe. You would think there eyes would have been covered in sand that in itself would have to be a danger to the welfare of those racing dogs. Did any dogs lose their footing or slip sideways , you would think that would be the case in 4 to 6 inches of slush
  8. So what your saying is G Whiterod made the decision weather to let the meeting continue or call it off. Dosnt Whiterod live in Wanganui or Palmerston North , that would have to be 700 or 800 kilometres from Forbury and he makes a call to continue on with the meeting. What kind of dumb arse people they employ, put a suit on them and call them a stipe. These people are nothing but a joke , how can they be taken seriously
  9. Cichlid are you telling us the Stipendary Steward in Palmerston North made the call weather the meeting went ahead or to be abandoned . I hope your just taking the piss.
  10. If I remember rightly the actual base of the Forbury track is bitumen with the sand on top , so yankiwi that black chunk of matter being kicked up by the dog galloping on it could be one of two things. Bitumen that has broken up after all these years or someone’s lost their marbles. Two or three options on who’s marbles they could be

  14. If your serious about wanting a better and more reliable product. “Sell Ellerslie “ and build a state of the art facility training and racing complex either around Hamilton or Cambridge , I’m aware Massera talks about a complex in Waikato area but synthetic forget it If your sport sold Ellerslie , what’s it worth $400 ,$500 ,$600 million Get it out of your head that a synthetic track is your saving grace , i think Geelong and Ballerat are both closing up to many injuries and the upkeep is in the millions per year.
  15. No wonder you guys are wanting to run with the Messara findings, he’s wanting Harness and Greyhounds to prop up a disjointed infrastructure and Management who couldn’t organise a good fuck in a brothal. Fuck the Messara Report

Just great to see that everyone is so enthusiastic about going ahead, I’m stunned with the replies.
  17. Bob Bradley was up with the play when it came to grass not that smoking stuff. He used to be the green keeper at Russley for many years. Dont think there would be anyone sharper than Bob regarding turf
  18. Look for a new job
  19. Vision. What’s that . Hell thats not a requirement at Riccarton. Ask Tim Mills and he would have to get the dictionary out. But as long as he does his radio stint on Saturday mornings, alls good .
  20. This club needs management who actually know what there doing , and heaven forbid Peters plan of giving them a new synthetic track , I’m sure Mills will fuck that within a couple of years.

Don’t worry about how it looks , what about the poor bloody punter you guys forget it’s the punter that keeps your sport going and without them you drown. And to be perfectly honest harness is making a good fist of it. Dont go too far from the life boat
  23. Marcoola was huge last night , very unlucky not to win to be honest.
  24. That’s a shame as I’m sure there’s a story to tell about one of the tabs men.
  25. How far back do you want to go
