So your “surmising “ that because something unusual happens in a race to a dog that we’re all talking about the trainer , get real it’s nothing about the trainer this is actually about the actions of the dog and the lack of action from the RIU to look into the possibility of something going on at Addington that should be looked into. God would hate to see you on dury duty on a murder trial , it doesn’t work on summation it’s about fact.
-
Just have to say in defence of yankiwi where dos it say in this thread that the trainer should be investigated , I haven’t seen that . The dog was mentioned but nothing about the trainer
-
So what’s the rule , there’s a rule for marring and a rule for failing to pursue . So what’s the rule for racing manners
-
So the stipe has given the dog a “ Racing manners warning “ , I’m led to believe there’s no such rule . But not only that the dog was never vet checked , it seems the trainer was never spoken too regarding its manners . So who did the stipe inform about the racing manners , not the trainer so I gather must of had a word to the dog . What kind of people the RIU employ is beyond belief .
-
Can someone put up the race where the dog looked like it was drunk , Im of the belief the stipe gave the dog a warning to improve its racing manners .
-
Very odd , looked like it was lying down in the boxes when they opened then runs into the rail . If the stipe was on the ball they would have taken blood and urine . I hear there was another race at Addington a couple weeks ago where the dog looked like it was drunk running all over the track . Whats going on at Addington.

To be perfectly honest in all the time that this guy has been the starter I can’t recall where there all standing perfectly still. This guys standing start is actually a walk up , he doesn’t have a bloody clue .
-
Now that is a laugh , he wrote the welfare policy and he can’t even figure out the rules that he helped write . I was of the belief that it couldn’t get any worse than what we have seen from the RIU over the last year or two but this has to take the cake. You happen to write policy but you have no idea how to follow it . Amazing
-
Now your just having a laugh. l know there lacking but really
-
Having read that you would expect a new rule will be put in place fairly soon one would think. Mr Coppins where did he come from , is he an ex plod like all the rest . Clearly can’t think on his feet . No sign of common sense shown by these Stipes on track on the day . Well done to those 4 once again
-
Yes he did, there the kind of performances that make your hair stand and puts a chill up your spine. Hard to believe a trotter could do that , I’ll never forget that
-
Yes that performance by No Reponse in the Dominion would have to be one of the greatest performances I’ve ever seen in all my years of involvement with harness
-
I’m expecting the judicial hearing report to be emailed to me in the next few hours would expect to make interesting read. Yes very poor decision by the Stipes on the day to let this meeting continue , but some criticism should also fall on the trainers who carried on racing at the expense of there dogs welfare. These trainers surely can’t have the dogs welfare at heart or there money hungry and race at all costs attitude. We all know who they are.
-
I’ve just received a phone call informing me that the trainers Bradshaw, Jopson, Steele and Lee have won their case in regards to the charge of scratching their dogs without a valid reason at Forbury in November . I must take my hat off to these 4 trainers who were prepared to take the penalty of a 28 day standown and a monetary fine for the welfare of their dogs. Great to see common sense prevails. Well done you 4 for caring about your animals

Well don’t expect too much happening then. Shes just another seat warmer
-
Mike ,l don’t like my sausages charcoaled . Lightly browned and must have fried onions.
-
Well that’s a laugh , he wouldn’t know integrity if he tripped over it . Unfortunately it’s lacking within the RIU.
-
Your right , the problem being the glass is opaque you can’t see in and you can’t see out . Very mirky world there surrounded in.
-
The RIU certainly have a good resume. Ross Neal and Nigel McIntyre should have been both been charged by the police , interfering with ???? . Disgusting behaviour by senior RIU men. And they want respect from participants. Fuck off
-
Like I said before intelligence isn’t part of the criteria when applying for the RIU . Stupidity is the first thing they look for in applicants. People with a “ Brain “ need not apply
-
Far to generous , baking scones for the participants who have been unduly crucified by your enept policy and ability to get it right . Aren’t some of your cases still ongoing after 18 months . Would hate to see you all working in the real world Common Senses , where’s that gone within the RIU . Or maybe its never been there.
-
You’ll never get or don’t expect owners support all there concerned about is the horse going around. This is all about trainers and Members of the CJC. Does anyone have the books and willing to show how much the clubs leaking money , put it up here to see for everyone to make up there own mind how well the clubs been run.
-
The stands have been empty for some years now , I take it the only ones attending the track would be his supporters or paid employees but there wouldn’t be to many of those.
-
I’m sure your not the only person who fears for the CJC , I don’t think you need to put your head in the guillotine . I don’t know the in’s and outs of the club but going by what I saw that club has to be bleeding money big time , they just couldn’t be make money going by the crowds or lack of them. The members need too come to their senses.
