You didn't know the difference between VISOR Blinkers and Blinkers..you even thought Eagle Farm was "just fine" ..you think ticking on line boxes is 'spending big money'... ...you use an algorithm system so you think other Punters don't need to know about important matters like weight Stick to your stats statsman

Willy Wally whiz bang....fizzer Have you the faintest idea about what the rest of the World do? ...you know 'best practice' ....that's why there's a very good reason we have this rule... ...injured horses continuing on...bleeding...broken If this horse had have been inspected...and found to be bleeding...it would have been an instant scratching...and that's very likely after falling You can't retrospectively say "what a great performance...deserved it" then make up a whole new rule that our hopeless Stipes did... The World is applauding...but asking "so NZ has a special rule" Many horses fall with Jockeys retaining contact with the reins...now our Stipes have opened the floodgates to continue on...injured and bleeding
-
Actually you've got no right to be even commenting on matters you haven't got a clue about... Like the nuances of NZ racing... Punters can't even get an accurate track reading when it reaches H11...it could be H 15 and 12L difference.... change of tactics...as our competitors Oz have ...or the rails a death trap...when the 'experts' said it'd be just fine last week... Simple annoyances....easily fixed... ...you hardly bet here either...but talk a big game
-
Every country they're showing this video in...they comment "so in NZ they allow a Faller to continue" yep...a made up rule on the day " if the Jock has contact...that's fine now" ...even with all fours pointing to the moon
-
Jay Mack absolutely murdered his 2nd mount.. ?..3 back on the fence..he hooked out on the turn and into a brick wall meanwhile Dettori who was following the Keewoi... ..took up Mack's position and proceeded on to win the race...
-
We're very backward here TC... Its only in the last year the rule has been enforced...and even then the RIU can't be bothered tweeting out the info... ...as they do in Oz Its a simple courtesy...along with Change of Tactics... ...which we don't have here anymore... ...and the suits wonder why Thoroughbred Punters are a dying breed
-
"Your beer gut" Bazza...has 2 advantages It makes you feel warm and full filled on cold winter nights sitting in your soiled y fronts and holy singlet... ...and it hides the minuscule dried arrangement that has long since faded from your 30 year old memory...just don't go near any mirrors to rekindle reality is moi's advice...

Is Frankie taking liberties??...after being 'Da man' winning 3 on opening day... ...Harry's about to kick his teeeth in by the looks
-
Bazz dear olde thing... You can't even predict a front runners bias track...after a race meeting...let alone trying to work out what a market will do.. Your RUAKAKA post was embarrassing...you were embarrassed weren't you??
-
Oh that woman...remember it well..what a shocker...a spurned ex was he? She can't be too young now D... Did she marry one of Messiahs sons or relative....or one of the high flyers at A, D?

Outstanding post TC.... As you say it's only a matter of ticking an on line box these days... ...wtf...disseminating vital information like weight is as easy as ticking a box? who knew? Not Mardi grass....he thinks that dissemination costs huge amounts for some strange reason Perhaps his like are living in the past? Or his selecting 'niche' is alogrithmic...a bunch of stats all thrown in and zero knowledge of NZ nuances...like a fat neddy in need of a run

Forget about the horses... Its Meghan time!! Lets hope Meg gets hooked into the 'disease' and maybe by the time Her Royal Hotness gets to NZ in October...6 months up the duff... ..Te Arkow can donate a share to HRH and Hazza...and get her along to a country meeting at TE TEKO...and mix with the Polloi...oarsum opp https://mobile.twitter.com/Ascot/status/1009063975902904320/video/1

That filly needs a touch more ground alright D.. ...there's plenty out the back of Widden Valley... Have you whispered in her ear about her royal family?
-
Is that a Girl or a boy D? Messara still training fgs? He's got far too much time on his hands if he's still doing that to keep busy. Arrowfield Stud Guy is a pretty big job.... Its showing 3's...whoopee You're not chasing your money on 3 shots are you D?

Lets not go down the fiddle sticks root bazza... This thread should be a genuine attempt to help other Punters through their greatest torment in life...other than keeping the princess happy...picking winners at value... Mind You the winner of the first at TA had side winkers on first time...and it appeared to help it turn its form around...immensely ..straight to the front and too scared to look behind to see the scary monster coming at it... oh and BO first up is pretty good too...added 30% to Tileys horse in the last a week back...goes well fresh, form in superior fields, BO first up... ...always an indicator they're serious first up...give you that 'niche'
-
I've always reiterated that I trust the trainer on gear changes...on a neddy I've sorted out... ..I may even reduce investments on a neddy who's now racing in ear covers or bandages... If you call superior form in a better class of race back to inferior neddys...stats Thats your problem...I call it superior obvious form analysis
-
Obviously if the rails off..,as Gibbs told us... ...it allows back runners a far greater chance of finishing over the top out wider...as many did... ...you complained about the fierce usual bias there...but it wasn't in play last week ...and it didn't have much to do with bunnies going nuts in front either... Did the Trackman alter his usual preparation with the constant complaints of leaders bias?
-
Not the discussion B... You poo poo'd my method of selecting winners and that yours and Woddys 'niches' were far superior... ...please correct the assumption if I'm wong?
-
You appeared piqued that I'd trusted both the trainer...and that TT's have such a good ROI... Having sorted a superior needy out, imho, what's wrong with trusting the trainer an even greater performance is possible taking into account both the superior trainer and the knowledge TT's improve performances on most neddys compared with the control group?
-
Btw Bazza... Did you hear Chris Gibbs say " I think the rail was playing differently than usual....further out appeared to be the place" And you were complaining about the rail and on speed bias...were you pissed? If we'd had the pen. readings across the width...even to the 10M mark... ...we'd have known before the first where the fast lane was ...and it wasn't the rail... ..who knew...not you
-
Yes of course..especially as good a trainer as Jimmy.. I analysed its superior form in superior full fields on Premier days...good enough to journey to Australia and show form on unsuitable hard tracks... ..then trusted Jimmy this neddy needed a TT to perform at its best...plus 20% Read this from Kentucky Equine Research...you may even alter your bets on a maiden neddy you've signalled out as superior and with value... ...or you may simply learn something for a change.. "For group 1, exposed horses were 1.85 times more likely than unexposed horses to have improved earnings in their next three races after the date when a tongue tie was first used. For group 2, exposed horses were 3.6 times more likely than matched unexposed horses to have improved earnings in their next three races after the date when a tongue tie was first used. For group 3, exposed horses were 4.24 times more likely than matched unexposed horses to have improved earnings in their next three races after the date when a tongue tie was used, and 5.05 times more likely than matched unexposed horses to have improved earnings in their next five races after the date when a tongue tie was used."

Good on you big D for finding your niche in life... I went through Tamworth once...and Tamworth went through me...after I indulged in a pint of Dr Jurds Jungle Juice...f moi Never been the same sunce... Ive 'loved' a lot of nice fillies meself over the years as well D... ...and the pay back...if I had a dollar for every particle of sand kicked in the moose as a result..I'd be rich az Lets hope this Tammy Tip doesn't do to you what I did to those fillies then D

You're wrong BF The Stipes know that ALL FALLERS are required to be vet checked... The rules required the horse to be DQ'd and the jockey should have been admonished for continuing...and the CLERK of the course quizzed up on the RULES Following the race...change the rules if they want " if a horse FALLS and the jockey has been unseated..but slides alongside...and keeps the reins in hand...and there's no blood and the horse 'feels ok' after a Hundy further...and there's no broken bones...continue on for World famous status...even though this is against the INTERNATIONAL rule...ok" that
-
Oh dear....acting Cheief Stipe Williamson was on yesterday trying to explain the indefensible... " Goodwin told me the action(of falling) was 'one fluid action' and the jockey had his hands on the reins" No Willie...the neddy FELL...all four hooves were pointing in the AIR...the jockey was unseated sliding alongside the FALLEN neddy... ...the horse could have been injured in the process of FALLING... ...that's the purpose of having the INTERNATIONAL rule...to stop FALLERS and injured Jockeys continuing on while injured... You can't have a rule that says " since the FALLER continued on and won...it obviously wasn't injured...and the jockey held the reins" no no no...that's a country bumpkin rule...which we used to have It turns out the conversation Kuru could be seen having with the Clerk went like this " can I keep going" " yea go for it" The Clerks need to be quizzed up on the....RULES OK " no you fell...you're a gonnnner...pull up...you've had your chance and you FELL" ..should have been the narrative
