Great info yesterday...I requested Sweenz interview the Trackman and a Jockey.. The Trackman said he'd rolled the inner 6M after the debacle at the previous meeting...This had the effect of the inside drying out through the day where the last 2 races the rail wasn't a bad place to be Lisa used her stick in the morning and said the Rail was decidedly deeper... Great...this is the type of info Punters need at 7.30...not just before the first ffs Failing that...just get the trackmen to give us the entire home straight readings...how simple is it?? They say they want more Punters investing...yet hide vital information... #nofinidea

No it's part of a general argument through your inability to accept a 'given' i.e. drugs that make neddys go faster... ..before they run...not after Like Northern Dancer's vet who gave him Lasix before the race v others racing without... ...and your inability to take advantage of the known go fast after the Vet's whispered in your ear... ...you've being given insider trading knowledge yet you want to "wait until after the race to really confirm it"...idiot Its like being given the Lotto numbers...and you saying "you prefer to wait until it's actually proven" ..all the while telling us you "trust the trainer" wtf wouldn't you trust ND's vet? If a neddy I'm investing on has met my guidelines and is ahead of the field in ability...imo I add 20-30% to the investment with Blinkers ...I trust the trainer...you dont Absolutely nothing to do with investing on every first time Blinker wearer Btw wtf would I increase investments on a horse carrying more weight... ..it's got there through superior performances more than likely...that's all

Talk about Queenalicious exciting... Its that time off the year when the toffs get their top hats and tails on and their lovers wear hardly anything... ...and the hoi pollois practically nothing...especially after a tipple or elevenses..where they end up in the bushes sans panties but it's all about the racing... ...and meeting the Queen...just like Aidan will do countless times no doubt! Trackside come to the party at this momentous occasion and pretty much shows most of it... Lets hope that whinney voiced chuck hasn't got a job anymore with At The Races Lets get a winner or two from the horses mouth then... http://ascot.attheraces.com/stable-tours/aidan-o'brien

For September... The only problem is... The idea of Wilcox...to have 'jumpouts'...to test the track out yea na...Puke tried the very same thing when their track was re-layed... ...come race day it wasn't bedded down enough...ffs Nothing but a mid week Industry day, under race conditions, is the least they should be trying the crash test dummy phase... A Cox Plate Day race meeting cancellation doesn't bare thinking about...

The Racing and breeding industry are intrinsically linked... ...without breeding you have no Racing Industry..how ignorant are you? The Racing Industry...including breeding...is bigger than the Fishing Industry It keeps satellite City's alive and is the hub of societal attachment...which being an 'accountant' your're unable to quantify You had your chance when the NZRB supposedly invited you to change its direction.. You whimped out... Just sit back and enjoy the Messiah's work...you were but a tickle on the undersole of the NZRB... ...and they're still giggling -
So Whangers again today...racing on the rail Mmmm...is the rail the place to be today after racing on the fast strip 6M out last week? H10 to 4.5 M....is the 6M strip S9 though....and the outer rail...where they usually race on an H10 ...actually a S8 and faster?? And wide barriers the go?? Wtf would know if they're only giving us readings to the 4.5M mark?? And why would a NZ punter invest their hard earned on a 'lottery' situation with NZTR refusing to be transparent?

How absurd... Youre talking about the aesthetically pleasing noble Thoroughbred industry...including the breeding thereof.... ..with the blink and you miss it pokie like Hounds...raced in a few countries...with NZ's leading trainer baiting live rabbits... Dont worry yourself anymore...Messara has been instructed to sort out the Thoroughbred Industry first and foremost... ...obviously he's not going to worry about the Hounds and Harness as much due to plain fact that Thoroughbreds are a far larger more important industry...doh Idiots like Cleo can't see this though... -
It applies to any improvement that has been statistically proven.. If Northern Dance's vet had told you before racing on the magical LASIX ...and no other horse had the drug in its system...that the improvement would translate to even a 10% jump.. ...and you don't alter your ratings..until after the event... ...then how stupid are you??...even though you've "trusted the trainer"

Dizzy was on last week...and toed the party line as usual These 'journos' get an email through from Godber stating what he wants to talk about... Poor Dizzy wouldn't have known about the CHOWDHOORY case though...he's too busy to worry about 'journo' stuff... This week Neil Davis rang up after I tweeted Neil to give Godber a tingle "wtf can't Connections protest Mick...what if it was a G 1 ffs"? " ahhhh ummmm ahhh....haha...well I think they can in Oz...but we sure don't follow Oz in everything....oh yea but we're constantly reviewing these kinds of things" ffs...of course there was no mention of the pathetic suspension of 7 meaningless real days either... Godber..."of course before the 100M is a long way from the finish" What G forgot to mention is that the strikes within the last 100M were above shoulder height...and that's illegal Just like Trudy did in her G 2 win...illegal above shoulder height winning by a nose.. ..and no protest allowed...f me -
It doesn't matter where you do it...anythings better than nothing The readings down the entire straight at 3M should show a different reading to the entire 6M strip...5 readings in all... every Hundy Thats what would have happened at Wanganui.... The smart Jocks had obviously walked the track before the races...or been told the readings by the track manager...and knew to get off the fence...which they did... As for Lasix...C said it's 25%...and you know what a girly swot she is... So if the stats showed you the rating quotient on your selection to be winning by a length...and the undeniable overall facts point to a 25% improvement with Lasix...and you trust the trainer knows what he's doing...as you've constantly wanked on about Then wtf's a punter to do? Any sensible punter increases the stake in relation to the expected 25% improvement...that's what who knew?? Not you

They'll be on the patho's channel... Thoroughbreds will be interviewing local connections, human interest stories, review shows...you know...what we used to do... ..that's how you grow a sport...not constant fixes for pathos with a running reel across the bottom of the screen urging you to get on at f in Dipton... As for the 'plark' award Tony Astle of Antoines Restaurant...David Ellis's very good friend...would gladly provide sponsorship for this award... So long as the winners don't complain about the offal on the menu...whereupon he'll throw you out... -

Actually Messara's dead right..as said here before Each code should be allowed to stand on their own two feet Thoroughbreds haven't been able to do that.. Messara's report will obviously poo poo the idea of a tri code shambles... ...Imagine League, Aussie Rules and Rugby working together...na unimaginable Thoroughbreds will be able to regain traction then...about time -
Considering you agreed the info should be made available... i.e. if the track manager takes 30 readings around the track to 4.5M..and writes them down...just take a screen shot of that...thanks Oh hold it...you may be wrong for accuracy sake if you're wanting that.. If they start racing from 6M and further out from the get go...wtf is the use? Are you saying the Lasix/Blinkers off should be discounted? Are they really trying if they stop Lasix or Blinkers after previously racing to a certain excellent standard?... If the Lasix component increases the chance by 25%, as C says...do you alter your bet and /or increase the neddys performance quotient of its previous starts?? In your world you trust the trainer....don't increase anything...and wait until the horse has bolted...without you on so naive...
-
And to prove how correct Dillon is when he says he wants the EXACT reading for an all encompassing H11 track This years Trentham meeting was 12L slower than last years...both H11's wtf is the problem with giving Punters an ACCURATE guide... ..rather than having to look at times and work it out yourself ffs...it's just too easy to make fools of these suits who refuse to see the bleedin' obvious

curious Report post Posted May 27 More seriously, with Audible out, I like Hofburg and Gronkowski. "I did leave it to Baffert of course, as I said I would. I note that I also correctly named the two most likely to beat him, including the second horse which was 69/1 at the time. Of course you'd have been on to that because of the trainers first time lasix strike rate of 25% I guess. Is that better than first time blinkers?" Talking about the disgraceful use of Lasix/ furosemide C, when will these drug cheats in the States fall into line with the rest of the racing World do you think?? You had to admire the calmness of many of the runners...while the crowd went wild... ...they just walked around like a Sunday stroll pretty much.. Do you think Lasix had anything to do with that calmness...lowering blood pressure and feeling chilled...for example?? On his near death bed...Northern Dancer's vet finally admitted he'd 'Lasix'd' him before the race...while the rest didn't have his new found drug knowledge to compete... ...imagine if he'd raced without it and lost...the Thoroughbred World would very probably be a different place right now Is it time for NZ to use Lasix to help us compete in the US market perhaps?? Imagine the power of a Lasix/Blinkers combo?

I'm sure being in a good stable he'd have learnt his lesson...Maybe peeling onions ...White line fever can get the best of them though...Trudy being the standout in the G 2... So the RIU need to take this on the chin and get the damn rules changed...in a number of ways 7 real days is not "suspensions must be meaningful" for this shocker.. what a crock... Thats why Godber said last week..." no nothing out of the ordinary this week Dezzy" ffs...he was embarrassed and tried to sweep it under the carpet -
Gee I was wrong again Bazza... They were winning 4M plus...off the rails... Who would have thunk with the rail being out so far out as well?? All of that sand down by the rail must have been like quick sand...not quick at all what a dichotomy If only they'd taken readings across the width, jocks would have known before the meeting...to get off the damn slow rail... ...oops, Punters would have known it wasn't a leaders bias on the rail more importantly All that new sand slitting created weird inconsistencies...

Globally, pokies rate higher than anything... ...but that doesn't make it right.... The Thoroughbred horse deserves the very best opportunity to display the sport in the best possible light to encourage widespread growth... ...pre and post race interviews...review shows....social media et el Not off to the next Dipton Dog race ASAP and "just get on patho punter" -

Yep... You'd also think "grossly unacceptable...punishing force" would draw more than a 7 real day suspension as well wouldn't you? I would have thought a calendar month rather than the ridiculous 'national days' b/s would have been the minimum... ...and a month spent at the petting Zoo...being kind to animals -
Actually I've been far too mellow in the old age.. When Bittar came on board I asked him if he was running a secret society when the previous NZTR had refused to provide info on even the most basic gear... winkers...on a G 2 winner...he felt that was an unfair statement nek Minute gear all over the place reported... Its inconceivable they provide a reading...to 4.5M... ...when they start the meeting running down the 6M and further strip... Nothing kills betting more than a lack of confidence in the 'official' information.. ..which was patently wrong... btw...do you go to bed reciting the 'revenue' song...hasn't your brain got tired of being a wanker by now?

Ahhhh...there's a fear bit of difference to 'dirt' and a heap of sand dropped on...higglety piggelty...and Sea King getting sand kicked in his face...dripping out of his seasoned battle hardened nostrils and eyes....

Yea well let's hope you tell Big Red what was said... You'd think he'd be somewhat chastened after NP's meeting...hauled in front of Stipes and told to take cover..then gave up riding and out for 2 weeks suspension... Somerville must have been wrong about the "bashing" or needs a "hard ride" in S's words Dropped the whip when it needed a "bash" Obviously enjoyed the lack of a "bash"

So Shorn Treweak gets the big "valuable track information coming up next" from Tan on Saturday morning... Shorn seemed as confused as a blind dog caught in headlights "oh yea definitely different this meeting from the last...outside...that's where...and probably all over the track actually...yea across the width" ffs...nek minute they're winning on the rail...just like last meeting Just give us the entire width pen. Readings Shorn... ...and let Punters decide... ..after all it's their judgement and their MONEY FFS

Too true...it'd make one turn religious having to wait sooooo long for Justice ...and plain embarrassing for Godber to tell us the case "should be heard by late April" 6 weeks ago...ffs The disconnect between the JCA and RIU is hopeless...
