You seem a very bitter person who doesn’t understand how our society works re justice and maybe lacking a bit of comprehension - read the reports again .

Great news - at last some commonsense - I do agree the decision has been too long in the making .

They were stable hands and P was the drug they were using during the float ride taking the team to Cambridge. Police never called and the RIU , I assume, didn’t get them involved . Staff fired and horses cleared of contamination.

You and Dunedin University proctor would make the worst dinner quests at anyone’s table.

To those cheerleads of the RIU and therefore JCA read the inconsistent decisions re Throughbred v Harness for the same charge . The Throughbred gets a 50% lower penalty than harness - they are not reading from the same penalty v’s crime book . Lets start too many jockey whips v’s drive whip fines . Different planet ! They have caused the distrust .

The RIU have list of such over zealous behaviour. But when one of there own they do the big cover up - Neal & other case .

I agree RIU incompetent and this should of been nipped in the bud . HRNZ should be briefed post event as they are the organisation that runs the sport and pays the stakes.

The last 2 weeks behaviour by NZ Police , RIU and the press makes it a very wise decision to give the fourth estate no comment . That combined with those uneducated public who do not understand our justice system and have hung their colleagues before a fair trial is held - I would be strongly saying to anyone who rang from the press or similar get stuffed !!!!

Called frustration as everyone has already decided the 13 are guilty of race fixing and high level drug dealing/use. Justice does not work like that and nor does the press releasing made up information feed by the police . So worth mentioning one of the RIU is not pure and the past head of ethics was deep in it - I remember it vividly and could not believe the lack of action by the RIU . I have asked for the people on this site to be objective and take on board how justice and not guilty until proven works but they have them all hung .

So all you people who think NZ Police are pure , RIU are pure and the Press / Fairfax play by the rules and are so 100% correct take a breath they are all self centred egotistical overzealous big heads who destroy people’s lives .

So - that is the system and why should this case & defendants be treated any different than others ?

Read Theinformant or AllStars and Mark Purdon is in full agreement with those who understand New Zealand law and the media and HRNZ - formal press release . Congratulations Mark Purdon ! Now everyone stop this witch hunt and let the judicial system run its course . Before you reply read Marks press release and take note .

You righteous people who do not believe in our justice system , HRNZ and more particularly the RIU who did not carry out its role in the first place and sold there professionalism down the river should be paying the drivers.

I cannot believe what I read on this site - no idea about innocence until proven and justice. You comment is an insult to every New Zealander who understands our judicial system and the democracy we live in . So a fiddler school teacher, policeman , priest is stood down on full pay - “ gardening leave “ - but you say these people rot . Your comment is arsenic !

Teacher gets paid while stood down - these people have had their income taken off them . Not justice as we expect it to be handled . Will you accept the RIU pay them while they lock them out ?

Mr pressman never ask me for an interview when I win the cup and I don’t have to go to the birdcage to be put in a cage . Balance is all I am saying and they have shown none .

Press Witch Hunt ! Disgraceful - check todays paper - shocking criminal case gets 5 sentences ! Inca gets pages of which some are ruled are not allowed and have to be taken down .

They will get their own court case when it is all over !

Note the attached Judge comment. Hide your head in shame - Informant , Stuff & NZHearld plus NZ Police - I will pass this on to the appropriate standards bodies and encourage maybe civil action if appropriate. Everyone deserves justice , fair hearing and not a biased witch hunt .

I never thought I would be 200% in agreement with Brodie but I am ! The TAB harness bookie has - no balls - gutless - gay - weak - doesn’t try to get a pool started - biased - useless - limp So after a few years of saying he is gutless -I am a small punter at $50 - $100 t.o per week - I like many before me will be going to Aussie . All sons never use TAB now and use Aussie and they are part of 30 guy syndicate who now don’t use NZ tab . They on average would punt half what I spend . Surely this is not a great business model !!!!
