Police ask for delays but RIU are in the background trying to stitch it together and they cannot seem to join the dots for the police to move forward . Without the stipes/riu help there will be no case(s) for Police to carry on with - embarrassing in my opinion as the day 1-3 press releases ,authorised by Godber , basically said we have it all to finish them all for life. But all we get are continual delays - maybe stipes should be stood down for unprofessional behaviour re releasing private information to The Press newspaper and breaking what I believe was confidential information ( lawyer client type understanding ) . RIU made it an ego side show !

Very poor performance RIU and NZPolice - the overzealous behaviour and confidence shown day 1 was unjustified . Surely the matter should of been before the courts as the respondents behaviour was it was black and white closed case . This is not fair to all involved and if they ask for delays then surely the case is weak and they should think about treated people and the cases properly.

You would get a little more respect if you could check your grammar , spelling and punctuation etc - then again not much more as there is a difference between abuse and opinion .

Prudent good trainers like Cran are selling the just below top flight and the odd top flight horse as they , like I , cannot see the point in having your good horses beaten up every week by Allstars for 3 -4 th place cheque’s . A good $$$$$ from Aussie or USA is far better than running around NZ ! So UDR and wins skewed by sales of good horses who cannot beat the blue and star machine .

And they could if ATC stopped treating them as competition but as part of the team so programming was an annual joint plan complimenting each club etc . Hopefully HRNZ will be sole field selectors and smooth out the programs and dates . No change implemented no Cambridge and broke Auck

That is why Cambridge races . If ATC compete with Cambridge head on then Waikato will not survive and North Island will only have 2 tracks . Be realistic you don’t want ATC holding races for horses which should race at Cambridge whose role is a feeder club for big brother.

Maybe to save the industry money - why do you have 2 bodies selecting fields ? All clubs should be relieved of the task and therefore stop the doubling up of staff/cost as well remove the power from one Club paid employee . Total discretion in one persons hands is not appropriate - especially when he ignores national grading guide lines . Derby had no points like the Cup selection and definitely no transperancy - time for Clubs to be removed from having field selection input ! .

Back to the topic. I think if you look at the discussion horses considered deserving of been on the ballot rather than in the field included - a) Mr Yips b) DadnDave c) Stars Tonight They performed as expected including one not fronting. Now Richie any comment ?

Why do we have a rating system when NZMTC ignore it when selecting the Derby ? Some may say visitor preference.

NOT PROVED - is not the JCA threshold - therefore statement not technically correct LLB. No beyond doubt in JCA rules. Just in probability quilty (not proven) and in positive cases always guilty no defence available to the horseman .

RIU get it wrong again - didn’t pass first test of 3 but if it had passed 1-2 it would of failed in getting a conviction . By the way INCA delayed - was due for court hearing yesterday - is solely RIU & NZPolice struggling to get enough hard evidence - the delays are all Police / RIU - so not justice or fair to the charged . This case will likely weaken some of the by association rubbish charges .

Why do critics on here refer to Tim as .... young Tim .....? He has been a senior horseman for a very longtime and must be 30 + or nearly 30 + . No one refers to young Dexter or young Matt or young John or you young Ben etc. Tim is old enough to not be talked about as if he is still a junior and like all sportsman has high and low days and I think if you look at other drivers he has a lot more rungs on the ladder than many .
