When this sham witch hunt started the police said they had all the evidence they needed and it was a water tight case - so 2.5 years later they will read an independent report in March 2021. These guys have been tortured long enough - let it rest RIU & Police . This is not justice which every NZ citizen knows and expects.

I have witnessed RIU members play the moral card in front of none industry people in a private setting and name individuals . They were called out by an individual there and then with facts quoted back to these RIU members about the history of such behaviour in many Govt Dept and large organisations and felt it was outside his mandate with a strong response given. The person who called the RIU out is very well respected person in the business world, sits on many boards and when we were walking out he volunteered to me (knowing I have horses ) he could not believe what he had heard and the aggressive tone that these couple of people were judge jury on morals in NZ racing !

Why do the RIU think they are the behaviour and moral police for us all . Best jockey in Canterbury and he likes a beer - don’t we all - and blows half the youth rate. The behaviour of the lead investigating RIU officer in this and other cases must be a very pure person - has been known to harass harness drivers and chase them home and enter private property - and for life holds witch hunt grudges. Ask the harness guys ? Thoroughbreds are getting a bit of harness treatment from our beloved RIU.

Nope - I think NSW Harness is going pretty good. It requires a wide skill set - maybe bring back Edward it would not be silly. He knows more than anyone else.

I know Peter and has skills but like all who have enjoyed working at HRNZ a 7 hour day is a very long day. My view we need a well qualified person with broad experience who doesn’t mind upsetting those already there and if need be a big sweep and new broom . My wish would be someone who is not a NZ racing or industry person but a strong administrator from Aussie . The job needs focused KPI ‘s and no excuses if not meant - one chance to do the job or gone . Therefore, we need a strong board - not a woke half baked outfit .

And I have heard 1 or 2 staff at HRNZ were part of the small team of the original INCA snitchers. They are not objective - nepotism ? Appeal to appropriate Govt Dept - no one here is guilty of anything but whether RIU or HRNZ but they make a moral call on someone who is one the best advertisements for the sport.

Surely this bias ruling breaks many NZ govt rules - a) Fair Trading Act b) Commerce Commission c) Anti competition rules d) May even get into equal rights Bound to be more legalisation the RIU have broken re this ruling.
