The "Chase Theory" is adopted by some punters but only works if the horse/sport is paying more than $2. Tom Melbourne is a classic example. Keep doubling your bet size until it wins. Of course, in his case, you would have needed a big bank account!

I noticed in the NFL betting this morning. Kansas City Chiefs were $1.45 to win and if you wanted to back the Chiefs at -2.5, you were getting a value price of $1.44.

Cash Out is a rip off. I backed Outback Barbie at $2.20 and it firmed into $2.10, yet my cash out for a $100 bet was $91. At bet365 it would have made a slight profit or at least got my $100 back.
