Didn't the going pear shaped start about 20 years ago. When someone posted that the average Aus country meeting turnover is $7.5 mil, it really emphasised that there is only one way out of NZ's racing woes, increase wagering turnover, substantially. If they cut costs, then they have the resources and a chance at executing a plan to do do this, but it is going to take a magic wand, so very interested to see what Messara has come up with
