Trackside Radio was not an earner, it was one of those nice to have extras. Remember what you and others were harping on about for decades- cost reductions. As soon as the new board and CEO took the knife to the TAB cost structures the likes of you go off and even write letters to Robertson. As the saying goes" you cant have your cake and eat it to". On the positive side , such actions have recently seen an extra 5 mio go to the 3 bodies to use in whatever way their boards decide. The balance sheet has also seen some nice improvements in recent times resulting in reduced debt levels. The new act has seen a truly fundamental reset of the NZTAB and its functions. Cost cuts including those on big salaries and departure of tote machines Radio etc are about 20 mio last time i heard. The fact that bodies employed those who were shown the door suggests they are the ones with the real issues IMHO

Agreed and my exact point if not here then on another forum. You know Cullen sets his horses for the big race meets just as All Stars used to . You know she is one of the best if not the best and yet rarely drives these days. Some one made the point about outlaying $16 on here for a small profit . Back another driver with $16 on his/her drives and you may have lost. Whilst thats good for TAB its not much use to the losing punter. Not worth it for any gaming organisation and rightly gotten rid of locally You could have got that amount on it ether Fixed or tote paid evens both ways. If Premier racing is not your go, fair enough , but dont go on about it all the time as if your the only important person in harness who knows anything. Same in NZ although a few rogues have tried to set them up for a punt by fair or foul means. Its ended badly for 3 of them in recent times.
