    i haven,t heard one trainer or driver say that Lamb is a great starter and i have had several conversations with them after races if you had a vote among trainers and drivers Lamb or Donnely i reckon Donnely would be more popular than Jacinda and Lamb less popular than what Bridges was

    apparently there is a new job going at addington [racing manager] advertised on their website and/or facebook yesterday.the word is he already the hot favorite to get it so not lot to industry. watch this space

    it was reported on tv3 news tonight reporter saying she received a leaked email ardern sent to her ministers telling them not to talk to media [ so could only have been leaked by greens,first or labour ] the reporter then went on to say they asked minister of health for interview and he refused just to prove her point about ardern gagging ministers

    if you look below in the fine print at addington it said it is a 10 race programme races 2,3 & 4 will have nominations to run more than one race so you will have more than 5 races to lose your money

    Does anyone have some figures on Aussie racing to compare how many employees they have in there 3 codes . the state of Victoria is similar size and population to us just a bit bigger so would be a good state to comare with us

    I see that jockeys can,t ride in the island they don,t live in are drivers still aloud to drive in both islands?

    Best explanation I can think of is southland don,t race for about 8 weeks stop second week of june and start again in August so gives there horses a chance of racing all year round and with canterbury area racing on Sunday maybe instead of mid week at night Saturday afternoon in winter would be better
