No such thing as an ex-kiwi is there? Kiwi for life Ive been led to believe.
-
Just love that bloke's posts, he doesn't mind stirring the pot, seems to know what he's talking about Shu.
-
He can go the early crow, yes, but mainly he's on the ball, where there's smoke kind of thing, as for bringing racing into disrepute, you obviously don't live here amongst all this, if you did you would know......he was onto the cheats long before the 'cops' and he gets some great drum. McDonald left himself open with that ride, that's why he is doing time, agree that it wasn't as bad as the northern rivers episode but at least it keeps the little buggers honest......

Ive seen what epo does to a horse, I'll only tell under oath, but let me tell all the doubting Thomas's, it puts lengths on them, they will run though brick walls, it will heal an open wound in days not weeks, just ask Lance Armstrong what it does. This ITPP does the same thing, it's the ants pants, but it kills also, injected too quickly into the vein, they will drop, it causes heart attacks, it's the juice of choice for low bastards and I thank God the French have a LAB that can test for it. If these snowball rumours become an avalanche I hope the FEDS do their thing with vigour, so far the FEDS have let us down, but I still have faith....for the horses sake

I hope you Dudes are still reading peter profit.com.au? It's a bit close to home as it involves an expat, but it's going to make mainstream media here shortly. ITPP the synthetic EPO, well, let's see how long it takes for the Feds to start laying charges......they sure are in USA........here's an honest question for you? Is there any chance this drug is circulating in NZ? Do you think the RIU in NZ will look at retrospective testing of samples once this is announced as detectable? ....Oh hang on, did they test at all? there was no pre-race testing was there? who's to say this lot at RIU ever sent the samples post race off to the LAB? When you're broke, and told by the bosses '' we're broke boys, just go through the motions' there's no guarantee that due process was followed? There's no credibility with RIU there and here in Oz it's getting to the point where we don't know who to believe either..... What is clear however, it this story of tainted trainers and tapped phone calls and paper trails will soon become compulsive reading in all media, not just racing...... Because of the shameful act in NZ of land grabbing to save arse, this business might not make the light of day, perish the thought that some might just be a tad nervous, too much bad publicity already, whatever, Justice must be seen to be done, etc etc.......lets cross our fingers, hold thumbs, kiss the rabbits foot...you know how it goes, and you know it makes sense.

They know no shame

Aren't we meant to have drained the swamp? Not Awapuni, that other one, just north of Welly and south of Lower Hutt.

Exactly, to the two posters above, there is no more money, I wont be kind as Freda is, these bastards sent the industry broke, their lack of care and expertise has caused this, the low life are now scavenging the beach looking for flotsam and jetsam from the ship they abandoned wrecked on the rocks......drove it onto the rocks I might add. Let me also say this, a very successful trader/trainer had a good day out today at the trials, the horses will head to Oz but mostly Asia as history repeats, no doubt about that, but to get there they have used industry facilities with only a small likelihood of any recompense through the TAB system therefore enabling revenue generation which assists and supports the NZ racing industry....no tax, no export fees and the tax free exports are making other jurisdictions rich and ours poorer. No one speaks up, as very few have analysed this......RNSW has identified trading as a potential danger to future revenue. But John Messara failed to identify trading as a problem...yet his own jurisdiction has flagged it. He also failed to understand the difference between the two gambling cultures...again, who was advising him. Whilst I understand we are living in different times now, this behaviour is the trigger point of why NZ finds itself where it is!!! Its far too late to address it now but had it been done 15 years ago, the industry may not be in the current position. Trading could be the reason some don't want to make the move across the ditch...tax is a major consideration, whereas NZ has a far more accommodating system... If I could nail it in one, it would be the missing tax that irks me, an export tax that repatriates funds back into the system to aid stakes and infrastructure is the fairest and transparent way to show good governance and responsible behaviour, human nature being what it is, lining your pockets to the detriment of the industry you work in? as the punting dollar drives our industry the draining of the horse pools especially the better class horses destroys the very product that punters want to wager on......the result......well, it speaks for itself.

I know the board I'd like to give them....it's called a waterboard, waterboarding.........that would get the truth out of them you'd think......

Just reading about all the lost meetings for the CD over the next few months. There will be a lot of disappointed owners, or should I say pissed owners advising their trainers, ''I'm going to sell up, or move the ones with some talent over to Oz''.........Patrick Payne's stable is busting at the sides with ex-pats and young Mitchell Beer from Albury on the border is buying so many lightly raced steeds from NZ at the moment. Patriotism is all well and good, so too family ties, but for a young trainer in the CD and the SI, it's just terrible and time to look over here. As soon as we get some normality with flights and borders I'll do my darndest to get our young trainer and his wife to move over........the arseholes in charge over there have caused so much angst on racings young folk they need a comeuppance, something to shake the bastards to their jockstraps......if they need them...I doubt that.

ACME Solutions?
-
I could never understand who hired them.......it baffled me, it stumped more learned people than I........Purcell was middle management, head of country racing, but that was AJC back then and country was small fry.....as for the height challenged bantam, please tell me who did the hiring as I'll bet he's nowhere to be seen now........or is he/she
-
I wonder how many racecourse appearances he's make? or Hughes? they have hides like Rhino's, although the little bald bloke is a mite touchy right now me thinks.......it's not beer and skittles back here regarding his tenure at RVL.
-
The only gear Bernard can get into is neutral!.......we don't want him back here in Oz, he's bloody useless, clueless, and I hope you lot kick him into touch before he does more damage.....he's no decision maker though, just the mouthpiece......Purcell was Phar Lap compared to this bloke.
-
If you think racing.com is brilliant you live in an igloo on floating ice......it's full of millennials and no hopers/has beens. Most over here don't rate it, it's the mouthpiece for RVL, and they have no credibility.......if you doubt me, just read the courts judgement for trainer Kate Goodrich against them.....they are/were misogynists and bullies and could't organise a root in a brothel. There are plenty of great forums and websites here, my fav is www.thoroughbredvillage.com.au where quite a few are interested in NZ racing....funny enough.....god bless em

The rumour is, 5'-3'' Bernie will be out with a pounder putting all the divets back over the coming week. There's nothing much to do in Petone these days since they repossessed the sausage warmer....
-
How sad to see no race meetings from the Cape to the Bluff for an entire week, gee, you might actually find some senior riders turning up for trackwork, canvassing for rides? I wonder how many of them will retain agents? A jockey's agent, same as a bloodstock agent.......oxygen thieves, dining out on the stupidity of people with too much money or not enough brains. I can understand a jock who's riding say 5-6 days a week needing an agent, but in NZ when they will be working a job to pay the mortgage in many cases, who the hell wants a 'hanger on'? Either they are bone lazy or loaded. At least the days of the bloodsuckers might be ending, downsizing the latest Range Rover to a Toyota Corolla maybe......we can but hope.
-
Great result today Freda trains a winner from small team, good jockey, good horse, good trainer, great result........good news story from the ashes. Congrats Pam!!!!
-
I hear Bernard has been riding early morning work, nah, just kidding, he couldn't sit in a bus, or a tram in his case, he might be 'up' early in the morning, but no trackwork involved.

What am I missing? Where did all this money come from re the announced stakes? Have they obtained a new line of credit? Could that possibly have come from the expected sale of their new assets, you know, the assets that will be acquired from the incumbents or current owners? It's not really theft is it? It's NZ.....first world entity and all....... How the fuck has this happened.......why is there not a picket line outside that den of iniquity on Jackson St Petone? The apathy revolts me, they only got away with it because there are so many dilligaf's, and that's bloody sad. If they couldn't stand on their own two feet without robbing all those good old grass roots SOLVENT clubs then it shows the divide between the decent and the rotten........may the fleas of a thousand camels infest their armpits........
-
R1 Wanganui.......here in QLD the win pool held 350 bucks, across the border in NSW the win poll had 2K and change, ......wow, stakes will soar wont they? you just wait until the race fields legislation kicks in, they'll be rolling in dosh.......pay rises at HQ........you bloody beauty.....NOT.......fuckwits all........NZ's only living brain donors work in that place, Petone Casino, god alone knows where the brain recipients are.......Parnell you think?.........you'd be right.
-
I question the intellect of the NZRB board, I also question Peter's intellect. Human instinct being what it is, protecting your salary is understandable, and that I fear was their MO........anyone who spruiked and promoted stake increases whilst knowing the state of the books needs locking up, and I'm not being facetious either, nothing but deadly serious. Deliberately misleading people into believing and investing in business or industry that is technically insolvent brings gaol sentences in most countries....why not NZ?
-
Yep, plus all the turds that marched into that emporium wearing a monkey suit and carrying a bullshit bag......those that went before them. Why? because they didn't show, good governance, transparency, propriety, acumen, etc etc......the other mob at the NZRB must also take responsibility for the incompetence and ineptitude of the RIU......not to mention those that neglected their fiduciary duty...... I've said it before, and I'll say it again, punter confidence starts and ends with good or bad racing integrity, you choose. Just perusing the other NZ based racing forums the level of mistrust and anger directed toward racing management is about 95%, those defending management behaviour? FFS......that agenda leaves me wondering.
-
Great post, in all reality we should put our cues in the rack because you've said it all........isn't tenure of employment a great thing......Jackson St Petone, the spiritual home of incompetence and arrogance, well at least that building up the top end near Hutt Rd.....you know it makes sense.
-
The weight spreads for SAT prove incompetence and ignorance is still rampant, plus the H11 in a drought? the fact so many will be turned away, owners that is will or should at least haunt them. They had a real opportunity to right the ship,, a broom should have gone through that disjointed structure in Petone, a big broom......instead a feather duster was used and I fear it's now too late to turn things around. The only winner out of this will be NZB, their air freight div, so many horses will leave for Oz and further, the pricks in Petone and Parnell did this to us all. Lest we forget.
